Pharmacoinformatics
National Centre for Pharmacoinformatics was established in the year 2003 & upgraded to Department of
Pharmacoinformatics in 2010; with the objectives of teaching the science and art of “New Millennium Drug
Discovery” for expedite drug development; to integrate the modern information technology to core science of
drug discovery and development by exploiting the advantages of the modern fields like bioinformatics,
chemoinformatics, toxicoinformatics, pharmacy informatics, clinical informatics, etc. This course offers a
unique blend of modern information technology and pharmaceutical sciences to the students. The graduates
of this course are experts in information technology with pharmacy background.
