RESEARCH PROFILE
• 14 years; of research experience in Petrophysics (storage capacity, electric
properties and pore fabric), Sedimentology (petrography, mineralogy, SEM,
diagenetic history, and Paleoenvironment criteria) and Magnetic studies
(pore and grain fabrics).
• 4 years; of research experience in Paleomagnetism.

AWARDS AND GRANTS


- 1998: A prize of the best Master of Science Thesis in the field
Sedimentology awarded by the Egyptian Society of Sedimentology.
- 2005: A prize of the best paper in the field of petrophysics awarded by
the Scientific Committee of the 2nd International Conference of Applied
Petrophysics.
