Architecture Q&A Session with 2Process

Meeting Purpose:

Discussion Points:

 Karin would like to know which tasks are in day-1 and in day-2.
 Victor explained that the tool being used to track the project (http://projetos.2process.com.br) has all the
information.
 Karin asked if it would be possible to schedule a new demonstration of the system.
 It is possible.
 Karin to schedule it.
 Karin explained that the Assurant team would like to have weekly status meeting with everybody involved in the
project.
 2Process mentioned that in Brazil, a very common payment method is the “boleto” which is sort of an invoice that
is given to the end consumer to pay at a bank.
 Just to clarify to 2Process that Assurant does not use “boleto” as a form of payment.
 Karin mentioned that a diagram explaining how the Web Services are linked would probably help 2Process
understand the flow. Karin to check if Gerry can provide this kind of diagram.
 Gerry had already provided a diagram that explained the link between Web Services. If 2Process needs more
detail we will have to analyze on a case by case basis.
Questions:
 Mapping of vehicle information:
 2Process has its own DB of vehicles. How would we be mapping this info between Elita and 2Process?
 Which format we would be using? Karin to check with Renaldo Folino the format we currently use to upload
this information to Elita.
 2Process asking why sending make, model, engine, etc in separate when one vehicle code should suffice?
That’s how our Web Services are configured therefore 2Process will have to send us each information instead
of only the code.

 DealerId:
 Does it uniquely identify each Point of Sale? YES.

 Mileage:
 What if the car is new and therefore has no mileage? Should 2Process pass zero since the info is required?

 Warranty Date and InServiceDate:


 What do they mean exactly?
 Isn’t the Warranty Date something Elita would calculate instead of receiving from 2Process?

 LicenseTag:
 What info is this? This is the vehicle tag (Placa).
 Vin:
 What info is this? This is the vehicle unique id (Chassi).

 optionalCoveragecode:
 2Process needs the domains for this list.

 Collection/payment methods:
 What are these? Collection defines if the dealer will collect the premium or if the end consumer will pay
Assurant directly (credit card, for example). This is information dealers currently inform while requesting a
quote, therefore 2Process tool will have to request this info too.

 Credit Card Type:


 What is this? For example, VISA, MasterCard (Bandeira).
 2Process needs the domains for this list.

 maxInstallments:
 What is this? Maximum number of installments allowed for the quote item (Parcelas).

 licenseTagIssueDate:
 Format?

 Deductible:
 What is this? Portion of a claim that is not covered by the insurance provider (Franquia).

 termMonths:
 What is this? Warranty term in months.

 What is this?

 documentType:
 What is this? This is used to identify whether a CPF or a CNPJ is used as a document.

 What is this? Distance travelled by a car or other vehicle. (Hodômetro).
