A Couple of Important Notices! The Rite of Election and the Call to

Due to the beginning of Spring Break, there will
only be two (2) Masses held here at the
University Catholic Center next weekend,
March 11. Mass times will be 10:30 AM and 8 PM.
Be sure to “Spring Forward” next weekend! Daylight
Savings time will begin Sunday, March 11. You will want
to make sure you set your clocks ahead before going to bed
on Saturday evening.
Catholics Returning Home
The UCC will offer a six-week series entitled "Catholics
Returning Home" beginning Wednesday, April 11 at 7:30
p.m., and will continue each Wednesday thereafter. The
sessions are for non-practicing Catholics who are seeking
answers to questions about returning to the Church. If you
know someone who has left the Church, please invite them
to join us. For more information, contact Fr. Ed at 477-

Continuing Conversion
Ten individuals from the UCC’s RCIA
process, along with their sponsors, participated in the
Rite of Election and the Call to Continuing Conversion
with Bishop Aymond this past Sunday. The Service was
held at San Jose Catholic Church. Our two former cate-
chumens, now know as Elect, are: Julie Chou and Doug
Hunt. The baptized candidates called to continue their
conversion in Christ are: Corey Cannon, Stephen Che-
ney, Jonathan Jolley, Krista Moody, Laura Neible, Kyle
Oholendt, George Pruessel and Jenny Ridge. We pray
for them throughout this season of Lent as they complete
their final preparations towards their full initiation into
the Catholic Church.

Where’s Father Dave?

Once or twice each year he leads a parish mission on be-
half of the Paulist National Catholic Evangelization Asso-
ciation. This week he is in Detroit, Michigan, and will re-
turn to Austin on Thursday.
