Diese Schriftart ist etwas f�r "Herr-der-Ringe"-Fans. Das Tolkien-Epos ist ein
literarischer Klassiker und nicht zuletzt durch die Film-Trilogien "Herr der Ringe"
und "Der Hobbit" bekannt geworden.
F�r seine fiktive Welt "Mittelerde" entwarf R.R. Tolkien ein eigenes Alphabet,
"Tengwar". Urspr�nglich sei es die Schrift der Elben, aber auch die (von Tolkien
erfundenen) Sprachen anderer V�lker von Mittelerde lassen sich damit schreiben [1].

Fanjofey ist ein lateinisches Alphabet. Aber die Buchstaben nehmen den Duktus der
Tengwar-Zeichen auf und geben den Texten ein "Herr-der-Ringe"-Feeling. Einige der
Vokalzeichen �ber und unter den Tengwar-Buchstaben werden - ziemlich wahllos - in
der Schwesterschriftart "Fanjofey Leoda" aufgenommen und verst�rken den "elbischen"
Charakter.

Gebrauch
--------
Diese Schriftart darf f�r alle nicht gewerblichen Zwecke kostenlos verwendet
werden.

Sie d�rfen sie f�r pers�nliche und private Zwecke ver�ndern und/oder konvertieren.
Sie d�rfen aber die ver�nderte oder konvertierte Software nicht weiterverbreiten,
au�er bei der Verwendung als Webfont zur Anzeige von Text auf Ihrer (nicht-

This typeface is for all fans of "Lord of the Rings", the literary classic by R.R.
Tolkien, recently popular through the LOTR and Hobbit trilogies.
For his fictional world "Middle Earth" Tolkien designed the "Tengwar" alphabet.
Supposedly the writing of the Elves, Tolkien also used it to write the languages
(invented by himself) of other races in Middle Earth.[1]

Fanjofey is a latin alphabet - using many traits of the Tengwar letters, thus
giving your texts a "Lord-of-the-Rings" look and feel. Some of the vowel signs
above and below the letters are added in the companion typeface "Fanjofey Leoda",
enhancing the "Elvish" feeling.
