When using a two-colour British Council logo, the four
dots can be reproduced in any colour, but the British
Council name must remain in Pantone 295 (or its CMYK
equivalent). Also, the new colour must not be too close
to that of the name, and there must be sufficient contrast
with the background.

The single-colour British Council logo can be reproduced
in any colour, provided the dots and the British Council
name are in the same colour, and the chosen colour
is strong enough against the background. On dark
backgrounds, the white version of the logo must be
used. Once again, this can be re-coloured, as long as
the chosen colour is lighter than that of the background.
