STATEMENT OF THE PROBLEM : Challenges of Female Entrepreneurship

Objective & Goals Of Research


After the problem has been defined carefully, the next step is to set objectives.
Research objectives guide entire research process. This research will help you in a
great deal to:

1. Create understanding of challenges of female entrepreneurs.


2. Reasons that why the female are not successful in their
own business.

3. Assess the extent to which motivation policies about Female Entrepreneurs


may need to be redesigned.

Introduction

The problems for female to start a new business is considerable a big challenge for
them. For this we conducted a research in Bahawalpur .For this purpose a
questionnaire was designed and a survey was conducted in Bahawalpur Daewoo
terminal ,banks and many other institutions and general public will also be
included in this survey.
The SPSS software was used for data analysis. 60 forms will be filled and
collected by these selected areas.
In this research we also include the secondary data which is related to our research
problem and also identify the different problem face by female.

In the end we also present Budget ant Time required for this Research.

Methods

 Conduct a literature review & articles on Challenges of Female


Entrepreneurship

 Our primary focus was on the interaction in data gathering. For the data
collection a questionnaire is designed which consist on 20 questions. These
20 questions are consist on 1 closed ended questions & 19 open-ended
questions.60 forms will be filled and collected by the selected areas.

The questionnaire will be like that:


1. Is your present business the first company that you own?

2.Please state briefly how you have overcome any obstacles:

 Conduct a direct interview for filling this questionnaire from the respondent
who are work in the organizations or any other representative of the
organization & finally the the data will be inserted in SPSS software for
getting the result.

Staff/Administration

This is the individual research activity is given by the respectable teacher Sir
Sohail Saeed. So I will alone work on this research topic. The basic purpose of my
research will be to find the challenges of female entrepreneurship and also female
role in development of economy in Pakistan. I have selected the area of
Bahawalpur. I will research within this city, because the more female’s job in
banks, university, colleges and few have their own business. So, through this area I
can get better information about challenges of female in starting a new business.
For this research the more staff or helper for me is not required. I will try to work
better for this research with my own efforts.

Limitations
 This research is conducted only for academic purpose.

 Data used for analysis is collected from Bahawalpur City of Pakistan. So,

findings are more accurately applicable only for the area of Bahawalpur.

 This study is conducted with limited time and resources so variation can be

occur in concluded data.

2. It is generally believed that Pakistani women give more emphasis to


their motherly role and family / home responsibilities rather than
venturing for a career / growth through ‘entrepreneurship’. If they
have to plan & settle for a career, they would at best prefer a safe
risk free job than setting up a business venture of their own.

4. Financial institutions are generally skeptical about the

a result, the women entrepreneurs are suffering from inadequate
financial resources and working capital.

more effective at their work places, they are still not considered
efficient enough to handle Labour & logistic issues as efficiently in
self-owned business enterprises. They would prefer men to handle
