Overview
Case Study
A major corporation was using Siebel 6.3 for eCommunications. The initial deployment encoun-
tered significant challenges that caught the organization off-guard. While they had achieved
reasonable user acceptance and usage throughout the business, the full benefits and ROI were
not being achieved from the initial implementation of Siebel.
They wanted to evaluate a move to Siebel 7.0 to leverage key upgrades to the product. An in
depth evaluation would determine the cost and functional benefits of upgrading against usage,
and ROI. The client understand that the 7.0 upgrade was significant from an architectural point
of view and that it would benefit them in by reducing the total cost of ownership of running
these applications in the long run. However, they wanted real returns for the users and their
business that could be quickly achieved. What they needed to achieve this was a delivery part-
ner who was multi-functional and understood Siebel Configuration, Siebel’s Interface architec-
ture, Siebel Visual Basic/eScript and web development skills (HTML, Javascript), and how Siebel
was used and integrated into the organization. The answer was obvious: iRevolution Consulting.
