Overview

Faculty of Management and computing (FMC) is a part of Maldives National University. Due to the
recent changes in how Student Attendance policies are enforced in FMC, the administration has been
required to monitor student attendance in a more reliable and accurate manner. This proposal is to
develop them a system which satisfy the above objectives.

Goals and Objectives

Goal of this project: Create an attendance management system

Objective:

 Maintain the accurate up to date records easily

 Generate informative attendance on demand

Solution

We will provide fully functional website with the following feature.

The website project will include:

 Professionally designed website using PHP, JAVA, CSS, and MySQL

 User creation
 Report generation (Monthly attendance report for each subject and generate report for each
student)
 Database search
 Documentation

Other hosting plans can be arranged on request the site can be hosted outside Maldives for a much
cheaper rate. The above prices highlighted in yellow will change if the client chose to host the site
outside Maldives.

The above pricing is effective through {1st March 2011}. One half of total project fee is due upon
contract acceptance with remainder due upon project completion. Monthly and yearly items will be
billed one month in advance.

Next Steps

To proceed with this project, FMC is required take the following steps:

1. Accept the proposal as is or discuss desired changes. Please note that changes to the scope of
the project can be made at any time, but additional charges may apply.
2. Finalize and sign contract.
3. Submit initial payment of 50% of total project fee.

Once these steps have been completed we will begin the project with a kick off meeting to introduce
relevant personnel and begin preliminary project activities.

Terms and Conditions

1. Once project fee is paid in full to ZERO ONE DESIGN GROUP any elements of text, graphics,
photos, contents, trademarks, or other artwork furnished to FMC for inclusion in website are
owned by FMC.
2. ZERO ONE DESIGN GROUP assumes FMC has permission from the rightful owner to use any
images or design elements that are provided by FMC for inclusion in the website, and will hold
harmless, protect, and defend ZERO ONE DESIGN GROUP from any claim or suit arising from
the use of such elements.
3. ZERO ONE DESIGN GROUP retains the right to display graphics and other Web content
elements as examples of their work in their portfolio and as content features in other projects.
ZERO ONE DESIGN GROUP also retains the right to place a text link on the bottom of every
page.
4. This agreement becomes effective only when signed by agents of FMC and ZERO ONE DESIGN
GROUP Regardless of the place of signing of this agreement, FMC agrees that for purposes of
venue, this contract was entered into in STATE and any dispute will be litigated or arbitrated in
STATE.
5. The agreement contained in this contract constitutes the sole agreement between FMC and the
ZERO ONE DESIGN GROUP regarding all items included in this agreement.
