Director, HR- Truland Systems Corporation (August 2008- December 2009)- Large Co
mmercial Electrical Contractor- Developed and implemented new HR programs for bu

* Lead interface with Nuclear Regulatory Commission to administer applicable CF
R's including: Fitness for Duty (alcohol and drug testing), Safety Conscious Wor
k Environment, Overtime/Work Hours Extensions, Nuclear Plant Security, etc.
* Responsible for Safety and Industrial Hygiene Programs, i.e., OSHA administra
tion.
* Served as the HR Business Partner, Risk Manager and OD consultant for Senior
Leadership Team; managed all field HR operations.
* Maintained a union free work environment at each nuclear site.
* Created a comprehensive Nuclear Employee Concerns Program responsible for ide
ntifying and resolving employee concerns and issues.
* Conducted complex internal HR investigations.
* Managed staffing for each nuclear site (approximately 300 professional and te
chnical hires per year).
* Created and managed the Nuclear Internship Program (over 90 engineering inter
ns per summer).
* Designed a comprehensive approach to internal leadership development and succ
ession planning for the Nuclear Division.
* Created and implemented a simplified performance management tool for exempt a
nd non-exempt employees.
* Created and implemented a new compensation program for all exempt employees.
