Engineering Notebook. Tasks included:


1.Creating a folder structure on a flash drive.
2.Creating a Web Page as an interface to the file structure.
3.Create a Brinkster account to upload the web page.
Stock market game that included:
1.Working in a team of four to five people participating in an online game that
was a stimulation to the stock market.
2.Performing an online research to find information and news about different com
panies that help predict their stock performance.
3.Buying and selling stocks.
4.Representing a report showing the teams plans and strategies.
Financial Report: Lead a team of three students to look up financial activities
and creating a companies fiscal year report showing all the details of a financi
al report.
Tic-Tac-Toe Appelet: The objective of the project was to write an application th
at plays Tic-Tac-Toe. The game was to be played in an applet between two human p
layers. The game kept track of the players winnings and ties and at the end of e
ach game it would show a statistics of all games played and total of winnings fo
r each player and total number of ties as well as total number of games played.
Sorted List Class: The objective of this project was to write a program that wil
l store and sort information in the form of a sorted list of objects. The progra
m created contained different functions like adding, deleting, changing, sorting
and printing information in a sorted form and printing objects individually.
Two Pass Assembler. The assignment consisted of writing a two-pass assembler for
the SIC/XE computer. The program accepted as input an assembly language program
written for SIC/XE machine, and produced two files as its output. The first was
a listing file showing the source statements and the object code generated for
each statement, followed by a symbol table printout as it existed at the end of
the assembly process. The second file consisted of the actual object code produc
ed by the assembler.
Linking Loader. The assignment consisted of writing a SIC/XE linking loader. In
the first pass, an ESTAB (external symbol table) had to be built. The second pas
s generated the object code.
Integrating F# and C# : the task of this project was to create an F# library tha
t allows users to search one or more RSS feeds for one or more keywords. The in
formation would be returned to a C# windows form.
Subject Proposal Suggestion. The projects task was to study a system request fro
m a small business. The project was handled by a small team of three students, a
nd it was divided onto two phases. In the first phase of the project we determin
ed six processes that the system (if built) needed to handle and several activit
y-based diagrams and use-case diagrams were drawn to describe the system. In the
second phase of the project we handled the same system request, but this time b
ehavioral, class and sequence diagrams were to be drawn. The project also requir
ed the preparation of CRC cards to describe different class diagrams. The diagra
ms were drawn using Ms.Visio 2007 and argoUML.
