STRENGHTS: Effective Communication skills and good leadership qualities

AREA OF INTEREST: Dynamic systems and Controls
.
GRADUATE RESEARCH EXPERIENCE:
January 2010-Present- Mechanical Engineering Department, Clemson
University, S.C.
Research Assistant
* Designed and Simulated a Control strategy for a Forward model of a Power-Split
Hybrid Plug in Vehicle using heuristic control logics.
* Currently working on Equivalent Consumption Minimization strategy for a backwa
rd model of a Power-Split Hybrid Vehicle in order to minimize the fuel consumpti
on.
* With aid of sensors and tools like Global positioning system, it becomes easie
r to predict the future traffic conditions and drive the vehicle accordingly by
minimizing fuel consumption using Equivalent Consumption minimization strategy.
* Minimizing the fuel consumption in a Hybrid Electric Vehicle by optimally spli
tting the power amongst various actuators by using Equivalent Minimization Fuel
Consumption Strategy.
COURSE PROJECTS:
Dynamic Simulation of Van der Pol oscillator and Rayleigh Oscillator as a part o
f my take home project in Nonlinear Dynamics coursework,
* Analysis of Frequency response plots of forced Rayleigh Oscillator for differe
nt forcing functions.
* Analysis of Poincare section of van der Pol oscillator and Rayleigh oscillator
.
Design and Analysis of Chaotic Water Wheel as a part of my final project in Non-
linear dynamics course work.
* Simulate a water wheel model using Lorenz equations
* Analyze the motion of the water wheel for various flow rates, and hence find t
he solutions for Chaotic motion.
Vibration analysis of a Piezoelectic beam as a part of my final project in Vibra
tion of Continuous media coursework.
* Simulated the mode shapes of free vibration of Piezoelectric beam.
