Project Manager
Provided constructability input to designers on a $14.2 Million parking structur
e at Los Angeles World Airport (LAX). Uncovered numerous design conflicts, form
ulated solutions, and coordinated the production of final bid documents.
Coordinated ADA upgrades for the City of Santa Monica including city hall, two b
ranch libraries, and two city parks. Was subsequently requested by client to pr
ovide on-site CM services for the Main Library Improvement project. Completed p
rojects 17% under budget and two months ahead of schedule.
Assumed leadership to turn around nine troubled additions and renovation project
s with a combined value of $23.7 Million for the Nursing Building and Physical E
ducation Departments at California State University Long Beach. Reviewed over 37
5 change orders and negotiated resolution for $2.8 Million less than the claimed
value. Mitigated schedule delays and completed all projects on time at $2.56 Mi
llion below anticipated cost without claims.
Construction Manager
Headed planning for 11 modernization/new construction projects for a $164.3 Mill
ion school bond program at Inglewood Unified School District. Managed constructi
on of M.E.P. upgrades at 9 schools for the Los Angeles Unified School District P
rop BB program. Coordinated design teams and managed construction from cradle t
o grave at both Districts.
Estimator
Collaborated with the Bechtel Corporation to provide estimating, constructabilit
y input, change order administration, and dispute resolution services at the Ont
ario International Airport Expansion project (ONT) including 2 new terminals, 26
passenger loading bridges, runway extension/upgrades, and a new car rental faci
lity. Negotiated 48 changes for 13.5% ($2.4 Million) less than proposed value.
Office Engineer
Assigned to the MK/Greiner/O'Brien Kreitzberg Program Management Team for multip
le projects valued in excess of $687 Million at the new Denver International Air
port (DIA) . Focused on contract administration services; processing RFI's/submi
ttals and payment applications; preparation of accurate construction status repo
rts; and contract closeout management. Mitigated $180,000 disruption dispute by
analyzing as-built documents to prove contractor liability.
Project Field Engineer
Administered $52.9 Million in airport capital expansion and office renovation pr
ojects for the City of Denver at Stapleton International Airport (SIA). Coordina
ted multiple contractors on airside and landside projects, managed the QA/QC pro
cess, conducted field inspections, oversaw specialty inspectors, managed documen
t control, and provided dispute resolution services. Coordinated FAA Tower Expa
nsion activities without interference or shutdown of ongoing airport operations.
Settled a delay claim for $0 by proving concurrent delay.

Managed a construction company specializing in commercial retail renovation and
high-end custom residential projects. Total P&L responsibility for estimating,

Turned around an almost disastrous construction remodel failure into a success
