Description of project: DIB is a desktop tool which allows instant bidding, buying and bargain
utilities on items listed by different Sellers. The software also is powered with a smart search facility to
seek products, exhibits the hot selling items and enables the Sellers to directly upload the item for bid
and bargain. It also has the yellow page functionality which allows the user to look for items in
different localities. The most significant feature of the software is the chat facility which will allow the
Customers and the Sellers to directly communicate and facilitate the deals.

Description of project: OMCA is an application which automates the admission of the candidates
with Ranking in the Management Aptitude Test (Orissa – Private Management Colleges). This
application was divided into four sections:
1) Student Registration, 2) Certificate Verification, 3) Cash/Cheque Receipt and 4) Choice of available
seat and Admission Letter. The application was meant to automate the admission in order to save time
and to discourage unfair means of admission.

Title of Project: E-Learning / Knowledge Management System (KMS)


Client: BRM Institute, Bhubaneswar
Role Played: Quality Analyst Duration with dates: Dec 2006 – Feb 2007

Description of project: KMS application consisted of various modules out of which the Library
Management Module was at high priority and already delivered. Other modules are yet to be developed
and attached to the Library Management Module. The Library Management module has different users
like Knowledge Management Group, Faculties and Students. All users can upload any file onto the
server which is cross checked by the Moderator and published. All users can access the published files.
Users are also allowed to store file address in their reading space, upload their finished assignments,
and access the Notice Board by logging in with their Username and Password. Users are provided
different access levels during their Registration into the System.

Title of Project: Flourish India Finance


Client: Flourish India, Bhubaneswar

Description of project: The Flourish India Finance had three modules – 1) Registration of Customers,
2) Admin Section and 3) Report Generation. Customers were registered under five different Finance
Schemes of their Choice and periodical deposits were maintained. The Admin section took care of
maintenance of their Branch offices, Commission Agents, Finance Schemes, etc. The Report Generation
module generates different types of reports according to the Query provided by the user.

Description of project: Interaction with the Client and note down change requests on the Website
and the back-office (CMS). Discussion with the Developers and decide upon the Configurable Items
and place the change requests onto the Project Management System. Track the updates in the PMS
and check the test Website for the changes. On completion of the required task, notify the developers
to move the changes onto the Live Site. Test on Live site to avoid any unwanted errors and proper
working of the Website and the Back-office and the additional functionality.
Responsibilities handled: Requirement Analysis, Creating Visual Specs if necessary, Upload
Requirement and attach Visual Specs onto the PMS, Track the updates done by Developers and Client
on PMS and take necessary action, Testing done on Test site and report bugs in PMS if necessary,
Notify developers to move the change request onto Live site when ready, Testing Live site for proper
functioning of the requirement and the Web site, Create, test and implement all audit programs.

Title of Project: Learning Management System

Description of project: The Learning Management System is divided into the Admin section and the
Customer Section. The Admin section allows the administrator to add, delete, modify and delete
questions. There is facility to change the answer-type of each question like Long answer type, short
answer type, multiple-select, single-select etc. The answers are allotted marks which help to define the
result for the Examinee. The Customer Section allows the Examinee to login with unique E-Mail and
Password and take tests according to the instructions provided on the screen. The Examinee is allowed
to verify and modify their answers before submitting. The scores of the Examinee are sent to the
respective authority in their Company.
Responsibilities handled: Requirement Analysis, Creating Visual Specs, Upload Requirement and
attach Visual Specs onto the PMS, Track the updates done by Developers and Client on PMS and take
necessary action, Screen sharing sessions with Developers to clarify the requirement to Developers,
Testing done on Learning Management tool and report bugs in PMS, Notify developers to move the
change request onto Live (old) Learning Management tool when ready, Testing Live tool for proper
functioning of the requirement.
