Definition of entrepreneurship

Capacity and willingness to undertake conception, organization, and management of a


productive venture with all attendant risks, while seeking profit as a reward.

Business plan
Set of documents prepared by a firm's management to summarize its operational and
financial objectives for the near future (usually one to three years) and to show how they
will be achieve.

Business idea:

A pharmacy

Company description

It is a new pharmacy company. The pharmacy will provide medicines alone with services
like glucose test and people can check their weight. Furthermore, customers are free to
enquire about any specific medicines and advice about skin products will be given.
Moreover, the pharmacy will provide service like injection on the place itself. That is
customers taking injections can come at the pharmacy and take their injection

Help customers to purchase desirable medicines that is when they inquire about
some problems for instance fever
Provide a wide variety of medicines
Import medicines products from well known suppliers around the world
Negotiate a contract to purchase products with the same suppliers at a low price

Goals and objectives

I. Sell maximum products daily


II. To increase number of customers monthly
III. Create awareness of the pharmacy within one year
IV. Start creating customer loyalty during the first four month

SWOT Analysis

STRENGTH: it will be the only pharmacy in the village

WEAKNESS: it will be new, so lot of people will not be aware of its existence

OPPORTUNITY: no competitors in the village

THREAT: a small village and there are lots of competitors in the nearby villages

Products and services

The products will be import from different countries, where reasonable price can be
obtained. Good quality products only will be purchased. The glucose test and weight
service will be given free to every customer for the first time they perform the test. Later
they will pay for the services. For the customers taking injection, the company will not
charge them, it will be free.

Marketing and sales

Marketing will be done through television, radio, newspapers, internet and leaflets will be
distributed everywhere around the nearby villages and the village. For any enquiry,
customers can phone the pharmacy and for any information, people can check on the net.

There will be customer loyalty card. Customers purchasing products with the company
for more than two years will be given a customer loyalty card and on presenting the card;
the customer will be given a discount depending on the products he purchases.

Operation

Number of staffs require: 7 persons

Insurance: the pharmacy will be insurance by a well-known insurance company

Job description and responsibility

Two sale persons: they will be in-charged for the sales of the medicines

One cleaner: he will be responsible for the maintenance of the pharmacy

One accountant: his duty will be to balance the account of the pharmacy

One marketing officer: he will be responsible for the marketing of the pharmacy

One pharmacist: he will guide the customers about any enquiry and supervise the sales
persons

One manager: he will deal with all the problems that crop up and deal with suppliers
