October 2007- March 2010 - Cornerstone Hospice / Development Director:
Responsible for developing Cornerstones Foundation to support programs / service
s through the different disciplines of fundraising.
Implemented Advisory Board for key fundraising strategies in the Orange, Osceola
and Polk counties.
Developed a corporate partnerships program with vendors to increase major gifts
in the amount of $10,000 and greater to support hospice programs.
January 2004- September 2007 - American Red Cross of Central Florida / Financial

Raised an average of $2,000,000 annually
Responsible for developing the Tiffany Circle Society of Women Leaders in Centra
l Florida under the leadership of Melanie Sabelhous, Former Deputy Administrator
of the US Small Business Administration. Worked in the White House with ladies
such as Sandra Day O Connor, Associate Justice of the Supreme Court and Frances
Fragos Townsend, Homeland Security Advisor to the President to develop this Red
Cross initiative.
Responsible for creating and monitoring departmental strategic plans, operationa
l objectives, and budgets to improve the effectiveness of the financial developm
ent department.
Responsible for identifying cultivating and soliciting prospects from within the
organization and the community at large to develop and maintain an effective gi
ving program.
Initiated new fund raising opportunities to continually increase the donor base
and visibility of the organization.
Implemented all fundraising disciplines for the chapter. These include: major gi
