Summary of Qualifications
I have been in the construction industry for the past 30 years. By starting at t
he bottom I have learned a variety of skills, and held many positions such as ca
rpenter, foreman, superintendent, project manager, and business owner. I have p
ersonally overseen the construction of more than 200 casual theme restaurants fr
om concept to opening as both a Project Coordinator and a Director for a major r
estaurant company. As a General Contractor I have built 50 restaurants in the pa
st 8 years along with tenant finish and over 100 residential fire and water dama
ged projects. Prior to that I built custom homes and ran warranty work for two l
arge apartment complexes in Knoxville Tennessee.
I am able to work with all people - owners, architects, engineers, subcontractor
s and building officials. I am self-motivated, often referred to as a "firefight
er" - if there is a problem, or a deadline that seems impossible to make, I can
make it happen by motivating people to get the job done.
I have the ability to read blueprints, formulate estimates, create and maintain
a budget. I am fluent in building codes, OSHA and ADA. I can operate in Micros
oft Excel, Word, Project and Sure Trac software programs.
