Position: Program Administrative Assistant Operation Iraqi Freedom
Served as administration assistant to the Military Advisor Support Team (MAST),
responsible for overall administrative actions of 35 employees supporting US Mil
itary Transition Teams embedded with Iraqi Army units throughout Iraq. Ensured
all employee's periodic training remained up to date, generated leave requests,
scheduled flights and arranged transportation and lodging for employees that wer
e in transit. On behalf of MPRI, provided Arabic linguistic capabilities to neg
otiate short term contracts with Iraqi local national vendors. Provided US Gene
ral Officers assigned to United States Forces-Iraq (USF-I) with written translat
ion of documents and acted as an interpreter during Key Leader Engagements with
Government of Iraq civilian and military personnel.
Nov 2006 - Feb 2009 L-3 / LOTS-D
Position: Interpreter / Bi-cultural advisor Operation Iraqi Freedom
Served as the lead interpreter and cultural advisor for US General Officers comm
anding the Iraqi Assistance Group (IAG) in Iraq over a 26 month period. Partici
pated in 600 missions throughout Iraq in support of the IAG and USF-I General O
fficers and staff. Missions normally included formal meetings, press conference
s, and video televised conferences. Translated documents and prepared briefings
using various translation software.

Position: HHC 3rd BDE PAC Supervisor 3rd BDE / 1ID / USAREUR
Served as the Supervisor for the Brigade Personal Actions Center (PAC). Created,
managed and maintained administrative actions and personnel files for over 1000
soldiers. Coordinated Brigade assignment and reassignment orders while deactiva
ting the 3rd Brigade 1st Infantry division, tracked personnel leave and maintain
ed unit strength reports. Managed oversight of unit evaluations reports, extens
ions, curtailment requests, financial actions, awards and promotions orders. Or
ganized promotion boards and physical fitness tests, quarterly unit training, an
d created an effective follow-up-system that tracked all unit actions from initi
ation to completion.

Managed administrative actions for over 700 soldiers during the unit's Iraq pre-
deployment phase and deployment phase. Maintained accurate personnel accountabi
lity, conducted monthly briefings to the Brigade commander, conducted random Per
sonnel Asset Inventory (PAI) and insured accuracy of unit personnel numbers. Sel
ected as the Brigade commander's personal interpreter during the deployment phas
e for Operation Iraqi Freedom II. Participated in over 300 recorded missions.
Advised the commander and staff on Middle Eastern cultures and traditions. Trans
lated daily written documents from formal meetings and press conferences. Contr
ibuted to mission success by ensuring the Brigade commander and staff maintained
good rapport with the Iraqi population and Iraqi Army counterparts.
Sep 1998 - Jun 2003 United States Forces Korea
Position: S-1 Human Resources Specialist 19th TSC / USFK
Served as the unit Human Resource Specialist and managed US and Korean military
administrative clerks, responsible for the Unit Manning Report (UMR). Synchroni
zed the unit's Modified Table of Organization and Equipment (MTOE) with unit per
sonnel on hand. Managed personnel shortage and replacement requests, prepared m
onthly unit status briefings for the commander and staff. Streamlined the unit
sponsorship program to ensure a stress free transition for incoming soldiers and
their families. Selected to be the commander's executive assistant to oversee
all actions, evaluations, awards, curtailments and tour extensions. Ensured all
documents were mistake free prior to submission to the commander. Organized the
commander's schedule, synchronized all staff meetings and created and updated t
he Personnel Administrative Center's Standard Operating Procedures. Served as t
he unit Information Management Officer.
