Blue Cross Blue Shield Corporate Headquarters - Chicago, IL. (Millennium Park)
Project Manager for a 24 story new addition to an existing 31 story
office building along the Chicago lakefront and Millennium Park skyline. This un
ique project will double BCBSs corporate office space. The 24 floor structural s
teel addition included 16 new elevators. 2 floors of cafeteria, new conference a
rea, and new curtain wall and custom metal stairs to match the existing.
Extensive logistic planning was done for the 2 tower crane assembly and disassem
bly, air flow studies for the existing cooling tower to be operational during co
nstruction, and overall safety of the 4,000 employees directly below the constru
ction site. Total construction cost of approximately $245,000,000.
Riverwalk North Apartments - Buffalo Grove, IL.
Assistant Project Manager for an 8 story new construction masonry load bearing p
recast plank condominium midrise on a 16 acre site along the Des Plaines River.
Midrise consisted of 90 units, 2 levels of indoor heated garage, exercise room,
community room, and an outdoor terrace. Total construction cost of approximately
$ 18,500,000.
Park Shore Townhomes, Clubhouse, & Midrise M1 & M2 - St Francis, Wl. (South Milw
aukee)
Assistant Project Manager for a 1 mile lakefront property that consisted of 30 n
ew 3 story townhomes, 2 new 5 story midrise buildings, and a clubhouse in the so
uth suburb of Milwaukee. Each midrise consisted of 32 condos constructed of maso
nry veneer, wood prefabricated panels atop precast planks. The clubhouse consist
ed of a 2 story community room with kitchenette, exercise room, and business/con
ference room. Total construction cost of approximately $19.500,000.
Wells Street Tower - Chicago, IL. (South Loop)
Assistant Project Manager for a 34 story new construction concrete condominium
high rise in Printers Row which consisted of 170 units, indoor heated garage, ex
ercise room, business/conference room, party room, library, bike storage, and re
tail space. Total construction cost of approximately $34,500,000.
ARCHITECTURE
Triton College LRC Library Renovation - River Grove, IL
Project Architect/Construction Field Representative for the renovation of an
existing 36,200 SF college library into a state-of-the-art library facility whic
h includes a new elevator, technology room, internet instruction & use room, 5 n
ew quiet study rooms, & 2 new offices. Total construction costs of approximately
$1,300,000.
Multiple High End Custom Residential Homes - North & Western Chicago Suburbs
Job Captain for multiple custom residential houses ranging from 2,000 SF to
35,000 SF in the Northshore and western suburbs of Chicago. Total construction c
osts from $250,000 to $15,000,000.
Rush Prudential Norridge Commons Healthcare Facility - Norridge, IL.
Job Captain for converting an existing 12,060 SF retail space into a state-of-th
e-art healthcare facility which includes a new reception, medical records, 18 ex
ams, offices, nurse stations, triage, x-ray, lab, dark room, locker room, confer
ence area, and a unique exterior facade and dramatic waiting area. Total constr
uction costs from $250,000 to $5,000,000.
