I design evaluation plans and tools for various projects awarded to PAC/LAC. Pr

m that satisfied requirements established by the Centers for Disease Control for
grantees, as well as the state of Floridas health information management system
. I was also involved in enhancing the programs case management guidelines and
creating an online training module for nurses, case managers, and physicians inv
olved in care coordination services for lead poisoned children. In addition, I
identified potential community partners from the business, health, education an
d medical communities to participate in lead elimination projects.

ederal Healthy Start and Office of Minority Health grants. These activities inc

I conducted Quality Improvement (QI) reviews of personnel functions in county he
alth departments. The QI process involved collecting recruitment, classificatio
n, employee satisfaction, labor relations, pay, leave and attendance data and an
alyzing the accurateness and timeliness of these processes. These reports were
used to monitor the performance of personnel offices satisfying statutes and dep
artment goals. I updated and maintained the computerized personnel system for t
he state of Florida, as well as extracted personnel data as needed for performan
ce reports. I helped internal clients to define and design work flow processes,

1998 edition of Floridas Web. This was a publication by the Bureau that provi
ded information about the states workforce and labor market, as well as career,
wage, and job outlook information. I prepared two articles which addressed the
impact of advanced information and technology on Floridas workforce and the rela
tionship between education, income and gender in Florida and the nation for publ
ication in Floridas Web. I designed information databases of Floridas labor mar
ket information (population, wage, occupations, unemployment) for Floridas Resea
rch & Economic Database (FRED). FRED is an electronic information system that c
ontains the states demographic, economic, and educational data. I assisted with
the coordination and development of The 1998 Florida Planning Report. I was re
sponsible for collecting, analyzing, tabulating, and presenting data for numerou
s tables within the report. I also created the electronic version of the report
for the departments internet bulletin board, and I was responsible for maintain
ing the electronic version located on the bulletin board, as well as responding
to internal and external data inquiries.
