detection of SARS-CoV-2 RNA during the incubation period (median 5-6days, range 1-14 days) does not
exclude an infection. If a patient with reasonable suspicion of SARS-CoV-2 infection is tested negative in the

Befundung:
Kein Nachweis von RNA des Coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 im eingesandten Material mittels RT-PCR. Ein
fehlender Nachweis von SARS-CoV-2-RNA während der Inkubationszeit (Median 5-6 Tage, Bereich 1-14
Tage) schließt eine Infektion nicht aus. Wenn ein Patient mit begründetem Verdacht auf eine SARS-CoV-2-
Infektion in der ersten PCR negativ getestet wird, sollte eine erneute Probenentnahme und Analyse mit dem
