GENUINE SALVATION – GUARANTEE FOR TOTAL FREEDOM –REV
ADARAMODU
By total freedom, I mean complete freedom from sin, sickness and satanic oppression.
Christ fully paid to accomplish all these for us by his atoning death. Repenting of ones sins and
accepting Christ as the Lord and Saviour produces total freedom to the individual JN 8:36.
Indeed there means totally and completely. Christ did not bring half salvation.
The power that saves you from sin is powerful enough to save you from sickness and
satanic attacks.
Unfortunately today in our country because of economic difficulties which was wickedly put on
our nation by some few wicked individuals who have ganged up to be ruling our country,
ministers of God who are suppose to be the light to illuminate the darkness and the ignorance in
the of people are themselves blind to the truth of the scripture.
Financial and material oppression together with the life frustration which is artificially put
upon the populace is being attributed to demonic oppression of family curse, witches and
wizards operation on the victims by the minister of God who in turn subjects the people to more
vigorous labours of fasting. Faith is removed away and replace with fear in the churches. Faith
in Christ and the blessing of salvation is replaced with fasting.
Look at what the bible says in Eccl 7:7.
Because of too many sufferings, the ignorant people who think… may be these could solve their
problems; rush in thousands there and submit themselves to the humiliating labours of fasting
and taboos.
Well, a journey of a thousand miles is covered by taking one step after the other. I will endeavor
to shed light into the ignorance of people in this message through the scriptures. May God help
me and may God also help you to be able to accept the truth.
We shall approach this message under four points
1. Salvation in Christ gives total freedom from sin – sickness and satanic oppressions.
2. Facing the reality of the cause of oppressions (Economic, Sickness, Joblessness, poverty,
physical and demonic attacks)
3. Solution to oppressions- (Physical, spiritual and finance)
4. Appeal for right choice.

1. SALVATION IN CHRIST GIVES TOTAL FREEDOM FROM SIN – SICKNESS AND

SATANIC OPPRESSIONS…JN 8:36
Here Christ is saying if your freedom is the one the son of God (meaning himself) has
given to you, then your freedom shall be total and complete, be it physical or spiritual or finance
Let’s take these things one by one
SPIRITUAL
The greatest and the cause of the problems of man is spiritual, broken relationship
between man and his creator GOD which was caused by SIN- Rom 3:23.
Christ came majorly to remove this sin and its power and bring back in relationship to his
creator in order to continue to enjoy the provisions of God unhindered.
Matt 1:20-21- before his birth, the angel said Jesus would come and save us i.e. deliver us from
sin.
LK 2:10-11- When he was born another angel also came and announced his work. He is born to
come and save human beings- chiefly from sin and other things contrary to our joy and peace.
And so when one surrenders his or her life unto Jesus, a supernatural power comes upon
him/her that breaks the power of sin in such person’s life.
Look at how the bible puts it- JN 3;16- The word everlasting life or eternal life there is a
seed of life that will make man to live with God forever in eternity. It normally comes along with
grace that makes man live holy. He can no longer willfully commit sin. Look at it again in IJN 3:8-
10- Note again why he cannot willfully commit sin V9- for his seed remaineth in him. That seed
is the initial salvation given at our initial salvation.
Still on the spiritual, let’s hear what Galatians says. Gal 3:13-14 – Here the bible says that
Christ as a result of his atoning death has redeemed us from the cause of any evil law, whether
the law of the witches, wizards, herbalists, occultist or evil men. If this is true how come then
today in some churches that they say the believers are still under curse?
They name some of the curses- Ancestral, inherited, acquired, inflicted etc. and they will
subject them to the rituals of graduated fastings to cleanse them. Sometimes they start with 3
days, then 7 days, then 21 days etc. The question then is- Are these fastings stronger than the
atonement of Jesus Christ on the tree?
Look at what the bible says: Christ was made to destroy all curses on us- Gal 3:13. Why did he
do all these? V14…`that the blessings of Abraham might come upon us’.
Why are you still going to deliverance houses to break curses by fastings which Jesus had
accomplished for you on the tree? Accept what he has done for you today by faith and not by
fasting and you will be free. Look at Col 2:13-16
Working in the soap producing factory does not make your clothes clean until you apply the
soap on your clothes. You can be in the church and be suffering from the oppression of the devil
and curses of the enemies if you don’t believe what he has done for you. If you prefer to fast
rather than to apply faith then go ahead and die in your fasting, I am free of your blood.
Still on spiritual freedom: In this same deliverance churches they also say that you can be
a Christian and still be possessed of demons or be physically oppressed by witches or demonic
spirits. This is not true according to the scriptures and if it happened, I will tell you the reason
why.
Look at Col 1`:12-14- Do you understand what this means? Imagine a Nigerian that won
American lottery and was given citizenship. He packed his load and travelled to America. I ask
you questions
– If PHCN takes light away in Nigeria, does it affect him again?
- All the student strikes, fuel shortages, police family support on roads, house armed robberies
etc. Do all these things concern him again? That is what that passage is saying.
Again look at Col 3:2-3; this is what I call double insurance. You in Christ- Christ in
God!
Where is the witch, the herbalist or the occultic man that can terminate the life that has been
hid in Christ in God? I don’t believe it.
Look at ICor 3:16…. How can the witch be oppressing the body that Holy Ghost is living…I don’t
believe that. So I don’t that the devil or his agents can oppress a child of God and if he does
then the following are the causes:
i. If your prayer life is going down or it has totally gone, then all these things can begin to
surface in your life- Look at what Jesus says in LK 11:24-26
ii. If you have started dipping your hand into sin privately, then you can expect satan’s
oppression in your life… I JN 5:18
iii. If you have any property of the devil or his agents in your hand… Zech 3:1,3-4
iv. If you backslide from faith… Hosea 8:3
PHYSICAL FREEDOM
I believe God gives wisdom to make drug for cure in the hospital. I am not against hospital
because it is not against the bible. If anybody is sick, he/she can go to the hospital.
I also believe that if a Christian overlabours himself or disobeys some laws of nature, break
hygiene rule or eat bad food, he or she can fall sick. But for a Christian to now become a weekly
customer of the doctor is not in agreement with the scripture…Rom 8:11
FINANCE
I don’t believe satan can block the blessings of a Christian if he obeys the laws of prosperity and
he is prayerful. Satan can fight him but cannot overcome him. II Cor 8: 8-10… This is financial
blessings.
Now, having seen all these things let us go to point 2

2. FACING REALITY OF THE CAUSES OF OPPRESSIONS ( Economic sicknesses,

joblessness and poverty)
There is a proverb that says…truth gets to the market, the price is very cheap yet no
body buys it but lie and falsehood is sold at exorbitant prices with crowds scrambling to buy it.
People hate the truth. They like to hear what they want to hear not what God wants them to
know.
Many of our big ministers of God today attributes the poverty in individual lives and family to
family battle, curse and satanic oppression and thereby subject an already hungry man into
another endless timetable of fasting to break the yoke of the curse, the joblessness etc.
This is not true, the cause of our economic woes in the nation is not that God has not given
what will make every Nigerian blessed, but because of few demon possessed greedy, covetous
and wicked group of people in the government who turned the wealth of the millions to family
wealth and subject the rest of the country to poverty
JN 8:32… What is the truth of the matter?
a) Take for instance electricity… If electricity is made steady in Nigeria today, more than
20n million jobs would have been created. Factories will come alive again, private
businesses flourish well.
b) Build one refinery in each of the geopolitical zones in Nigeria, then fuel scarcity would
have gone and thousands of employment created.
c) Make rail system to be working North- South, East-West, the transportation will be easier
and accidents reduced.
d) Build houses like FESTAC town in each capital of the states and millions of jobs will be
created. Nigerians then will be looking for people from neighbouring countries to come
and work here just like America and Europe are looking for Africans to come and work.
But situations where we have 100 vacancies and ten thousand applicants applied, seven
thousand have the required qualifications, how on earth do you think the remaining over nine
thousands will get the job, yet we tell them it’s family curse or family battle that is hindering
them from getting the job that is not even available at all.
If one million job opportunities are opened and only eight thousand people are available… tell
me which witch or family curse will prevent them from getting jobs?
This is the truth of the matter. If there is any demon operation at all, it is in our leaders it
is in our leaders they are operating not in the lives of innocent people.

3. SOLUTION TO THE OPPRESSIONS (physical, spiritual and finance)

 There is something we call divine- human partnership i.e. God has his own part to play
and man has his own part to play. This is what I’m saying… JN 11:39, 41-44
Roll away the stone… That is their part; he wouldn’t do that for them. The one they could not
do, he did for the. After Lazarus came out he commanded them to loose what they used to tie
him. If they refuse, Lazarus will die back.
That is the case of the church and the individual believers in Nigeria.
a) The church is expected to pray for good government in the country, the evil one we pray
them out.
b) Prayer alone will not do the work; it must be followed by our action. Vote for credible
people alone regardless of his or her religious affiliations. Don’t stay at home on the day
of election, go out and vote.
c) Ministers of God should not spare the rulers in their messages. After all they all have
churches they attend.
d) As individuals; don’t be lazy, be hard working.
e) Ministers should desist from prosperity messages alone; let them concentrate on
salvation and virtue building.
f) Encourage credible Christians who are interested in elective politics to vie for elective

offices.

4. APPEAL FOR RIGHT CHOICE

Dt 30:19… I have told you the truth. JN 15:22
If after here; you still go back to your labours of fasting endlessly because of what they made
you believe as family curse, faith in Christ is removed away from you and fear of satan and his
agents is replaced… I am free of your problems
