Served as an appointed public official in the capacity of Clerk of Court. Within
this position, I retained full supervisory and legal authority for the operatio
n of the Court to include, but is not limited to the following:
* Lead administrator and supervisor for all court employees, with the exception
of the judge.
* Complete fiscal responsibility in accounting for all revenue and expenses to i
nclude full and accurate reconciliation of all court funds.
* Retained full legal responsibility and authority for proper processing of cour
t filings.
* Arranged and scheduled all employee travel requests and expenses.
* Served as a Mediator in the Small Claims Division of the Court as well as the
Mediation Coordinator.
* Created and implemented the attorney based, post-filing mediation program in t
he Oregon Municipal Court as well as various other programs.
* Extensive court and case law knowledge base in addition to accessing legal web
search databases.
* Communicated and corresponded regularly with other appointed and elected offic
ials.

Worked in the Civil Division of this Court, but also filled in as needed with ta

Pre-Trial Booking Officer
Interviewed defendants who were arrested and booked into the Lucas County Correc
tions Center. After interviewing the inmates, I conducted a full scale record ch
eck on them, and prepared a completed bond report for all judges within Lucas Co
unty. The purpose of this report was to recommend a bond decision to the respect
ive judge.
