Serve as Senior Program Management and Systems Engineer for PALADIN/FAASV (indir
ect fire/artillery systems) program. Uses interdisciplinary engineering skills,
program management knowledge and abilities to integrate system engineering, sys
tem integration and product development and fielding activities for the PALADIN/
FAASV program with respect to acquisition and support; engineering and integrati
on; quality; testing and evaluation; logistics; maintenance and MANPRINT areas i
ncluding system safety and human factors.
Develops project plans and makes key technical decisions relating to system int
egration and product development of interfacing technologies including but not l
imited to armaments and resupply; munitions (projectiles and propellants); mobil
ity/survivability; electronics and C4.
Ensures that related product assurance, testing, production and fielding activi
ties are consistent with programmatic requirements.
Serves as SE technical expert on internal (i.e., T&E IPT, System Safety WG) and
external working groups/IPTs providing guidance, recommendations, and methodolo
gies for resolution of System Engineering related problems.
Participates in and represents the PM at meetings, conferences, and program rev
iews. Plans, directs and coordinates various IPT efforts with other PM staff, c
ontractors, and support agencies.
Specifically managed the following Paladin/FAASV programs:
o Graphical User Interface for the Paladin Digital Fire Control System
o Muzzle Velocity Radar System

Serve as the MANPRINT Manager and primary division staff advisor for Crusader (n
ew weapon development for indirect fire/artillery system) programs. Responsible
for managing and directing the planning and integration of all MANPRINT element
s (i.e., Manpower, Personnel, Training, Human Factors Engineering (HFE), System
Safety, Health Hazards and Soldier Survivability) which comprise the Systems Eng
ineering (SE)/Logistics Support System.
Lead, coordinate and direct the interdisciplinary Crusader MANPRINT Integrated
Product Team (MIPT) which includes PM staff, TRADOC System Manager staff, contra
ctor personnel, and other governmental agencies including the Army Research Labo
ratory, the Surgeon General, Army Safety Center, Deputy Chief of Staff for Perso
nnel, and Personnel Command.
Establishes MANPRINT policy and directs preparation of program management plans
, requirement documents, Integrated Logistics Support and SE milestones and sche
dules.
Serves as SE technical expert on internal (i.e., T&E IPT, System Safety WG) and
