- Function as the IDDEAL program coordinator during the outage support to
provide assistance and support for the Outage Services specifically in the NDE (
Non-destructive Examination) group; deal with gathering data collected in the f
ield and input into the IDDEAL program which collected the archives necessary to
track 10 and 60 year in-service inspection and technical specification planning
for ASME Section XI, augmented and owner selected programs.
- Establish communication with outside contractors working outages, such a
s Areva and General Electric; efficiently track personnel testing and certificat
ions, equipment specifications and tracking as well as coordinate workflow throu
gh presenting open inspections in daily reports.
- Prepare the NDE inspection paperwork in a formal report and archive as p
er procedure; scan certifications and inspections into secure facility network d

- Perform various duties, which include the title of Flow Accelerated Corr
osion (FAC) coordinator of the NDE team which utilized ultrasonic testing (UT) o
f carbon steel piping and components as the primary method of determining pipe w

- Organize a team of four examiners through daily task report to complete
daily inspections of piping and components throughout the outage.
- Lead and oversee technical support processing data of Non-destructive Ex
amination (NDE) into the nuclear industry-wide IDDEAL program as well as track a
nd maintain technical certifications in compliance with the ASNT-TC-1a/CP-189 an
d ASME Section XI for Level III and ANII review.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of NDT field inspection packages f
or outages and effectively perform flow accelerated corrosion (FAC) coordination
of technicians along with processing field data into reports for engineering re
view.
- Work toward experience hours to be certified as Level II ultrasonic thic
kness, magnetic particle and liquid penetrant testing.
- Acquire knowledge and experience for becoming the technician in the UT f
low accelerated corrosion program as well as proficiency in the utilization of S
