2010Accomplished and managed the relocation of 36R compressors site
within Elk Hills with a cost saving of over a million dollars in

controls. Work in conjunction with Occidental Management Project Team

2009Accomplished and assembled a dynamic engineering team under my
supervision to manage and support operations for commissioning and
start up of an LNG Plant for Trunkline Pipeline LNG Company.

Trunkline's VP Plant Operations to develop Initial Start-Up Plan.

2008Managed and supervised all disciplines responsible for the
detailed modification of a Mild Hydrocracker Unit (MHC) to a Diesel
Hydrotreater (DHT) using ABB Lummus's Syn-Sat Technology.
Accomplished many client milestones by selecting competitive vendor
bids evolving into many cost savers. Under my supervision and
leadership the project was completed on time and under budget.

2007Accomplished the revamping of the existing FCC Fluid Catalyst
Cracking Unit Reactor. Installation of a new stand pipe with slide
valves for a pressure balanced unit to slide valve control for
catalyst transfer. Client was fully satisfied with the outcome of the
project which was completed on schedule and under budget. CLIENT:

2006Conoco Phillips is planning a technology upgrade to their FCCU
during Turnaround scheduled for mid 2009. Responsible for an FEL-1
study which included the installation of external riser cracking with
close coupled cyclones, (2) Catalyst Coolers, O2 Enrichment
capabilities, and to add another CO Boiler. Accomplishments included
a thorough study of the existing reactor and added recommendations to

2005 - 2006Project ManagerAccomplished and
managed the PRV Enhancement Project for Valero Refining. Upgraded
vent systems to meet EPA Standard Codes. By-passes were installed
and all atmospheric reliefs were rerouted to a closed system. Work

ammonia plant due to explosion. Redesigned the 1500 lb. steam system

Accomplished new design and layout of a wastewater treatment facility,
fourth ethylene product compressor, and secondary acetylene
converter. Also a process efficiency improvement, which included an
