The company also has its own framing and drywall division that allows them to diversify as a subcontractor on many of the major tenant improvement projects, Proposed a site logistics and daily operations plan to the City and Airport offi cials at the Monroe Municipal Airport project. Due to the high volume of airplan es and ground traffic, I presented a plan for approval from the city and airport officials on site deliveries, manpower control, hours of operation, pour schedu les, site debris and dust control etc. All of which were critical issues in main taining a safe and controlled jobsite. Proposed more effective sequence of operation for apartment construction project . Disagreed with pre-construction decision of project manager and owner to backf ill the site to elevation before digging the pile caps and footings. I presented compelling arguments for first digging the pile caps and footings, then backfil ling. This prevented soil contamination, earth cave-ins and challenges in pourin g the caps. Results: Digging the caps and footings before backfilling cut (3) we eks off the schedule and saved over $40,000 during this phase of the project. No te: The Wisdom Manor Project contract amount was $7 million. I supervised 85 men and women to complete the ground-up project in 13 months.

Superintendent, Houston, TX (2004 - 2006) Proposed and presented a detail change to maximize the height of Television Stud io ceiling at the Univision project. Established a SK (drawing) showing the ceil ing joist spread apart to accommodate the installation of the A/C duct work and sprinkler system. I coordinated a meeting with the structural engineer to calcul ate the load design with the new spacing of the joist along with the sub-contrac tors, architects and our team. Results: The new design was accepted by the engi neer of record which resulted in being able to build the ceiling to its original design criteria. This saved the owner thousands of dollars in re-design costs, sub-contractors cost for re-configuring duct work, sprinkler re-design and frami ng cost. Results: The propose d idea was agreed upon by all parties. As a result the crews were able to comple te the columns on the interior before the church own contractors needed to get i n to complete their scope of work.
