PROFESSIONAL SUMMARY
Mr. Schubert brings extensive experience in interactive courseware (ICW) and des
ktop simulation design to the development team. His most recent experience inclu
des being the Task Simulation Lead for the development of 41 on-screen task simu
lations for the Undergraduate Military Flight Officer Training (UMFO). For this
effort, he led a multi-discipline team including C#/C++Programmers working with
Visual Studio, Presagis STAGE/FlightSIM, Vega Prime/Radar, VAPS XT, and Dragon N
aturallySpeaking. The development team also consisted of Flash and Authorware de
velopers, Instructional Designers, Graphic Artists, Internal QA Specialists and
Terrain database Developers.
Mr. Schubert holds a Master's degree in Instructional and Performance Technology
and has more than 20 years experience in instructional design. He was instrumen
tal in developing desktop simulations used in the courseware developed for the U
nited States Navy's A and C School Integrated Learning Environment (ILE). He des
igned the desktop simulator for the AN/SPA-25 radar repeater.
His capabilities include SCORM-conformant instructional design of ICW, instructo
r-led training (ILT), front end analysis, including task, learner, curriculum, a
nd media analysis, developing simulation scoping documents, and courseware story
boards. He has also managed several large scale proposal efforts. His strength i
s developing and fostering a collaborative development environment.
Mr. Schubert is a published author; his article, "Use and Rationale of Media Typ
es in Performance-Centered Design" was published in the November 2002 Internatio
nal Society of Performance Improvement (ISPI) publication.
