Chief Financial Officer 2006-present
As Chief Financial Officer reporting to the Board of Directors called upon to se
t right accounting and auditing records in order to resolve issues pending befor
e taxation department and other regulatory authorities. Impart Financial and Acc
ounting direction to about four divisions of the company having 25 subsidiary co
mpanies in the Group with a staff strength of 500 across the Organisation. These
subsidiary companies are in Dubai, Thailand, Hong Kong, China, Vietnam and Sing
apore. Personally responsible for a team of 25 from the Group Accounting departm
ent and 50 non-accounting staff.
* Introduced a more efficient accounting work flow to overcome the lacunae faced
for over two years due to the earlier system malfunctioning
* Resolved overdue tax audits & returns and overhauled current procedures result
ing in maximum efficiency and direct benefit of SGD 700,000

Held this dual responsibility for the Group's new company Thong Chew Food Indust
ries Pte Ltd., Singapore. This was a Food & Beverage manufacturing Organisation
acquired by the Group that was into import and export business with a total staf
f size of 50 members. Responsible for annual total sales target of over SGD 25M.
* Identified to head this responsibility based on past proven performance of str
eamlining the Accounting function
* Promoted the new company in a positive light to employees and reassured them a
bout job security resulting in 'nil' attrition'. Saved SGD 300,000 through staff
retraining
* Initiated structures effecting smooth functioning of the Organisation
* Met all required criteria and ensured adherence to Certifications like ISO, HA
CCP through complete revamp of equipment and technology with 10% increase in com
pany profitability
* Concluded bulk purchasing contracts with new suppliers/leads reducing costs an
