Saving Faith
Galatians 2:16 yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the
law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ
Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the
law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.
Romans 3:28 For we hold that one is justified by faith apart from works
of the law.
Romans 5:1 Therefore, since we have been justified by faith, we have
peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Ephsians 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith. And this
is not your own doing; it is the gift of God,
Ephesians 2:9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
Luke 7:50 And he said to the woman, "Your faith has saved you; go in
peace."
Mark 5:34 And he said to her, "Daughter, your faith has made you well;
go in peace, and be healed of your disease."
Sustaining Faith
Galaltians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who
live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live
by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me. \
Hebrews Chapter 11
2 Corinthians 5:7 for we walk by faith, not by sight.
what you will eat or what you will drink, nor about your body, what you
will put on. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothing?
Matthew 6:26 Look at the birds of the air: they neither sow nor reap nor
gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not
of more value than they?
Securing Faith
2 Timothy 2:11 The saying is trustworthy, for: If we have died with
him, we will also live with him;
Romans 6:3 Do you not know that all of us who have been baptized into
Christ Jesus were baptized into his death?
Romans 6:4 We were buried therefore with him by baptism into death,
in order that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of the
Father, we too might walk in newness of life.
Romans 6:5 For if we have been united with him in a death like his, we
shall certainly be united with him in a resurrection like his.
Romans 6:6 We know that our old self was crucified with him in order
that the body of sin might be brought to nothing, so that we would no
longer be enslaved to sin.

who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the
shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God.
How to have eternal life
Closing-
Real Christian faith is saving faith, sustaining faith, and securing faith.
We trust Christ to save us, provide for us and welcome us into heaven.

Romans 10:9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord
and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be

saved.
Romans 10:10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with
the mouth one confesses and is saved.
 by Faith”
Romans 10:11 For the Scripture says, "Everyone who believes in him
will not be put to shame."
Romans 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for
the same Lord is Lord of all, bestowing his riches on all who call on
him.
Romans 10:13 For "everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be
saved."
