CLIENT: SALLIE MAE, INDIANAPOLIS, IN
PERIOD: NOVEMBER 2007 TO JUNE 2010
Designed, developed and maintained components of CARES (Consumer
Acquisition and Retention Efficiencies Strategy) project. Primarily a
call center project to create sales leads for Sallie Mae's education
loan products and to retain and service existing consumers with their
loan and repayment information. Primarily worked on building the
middle tier XML Web services in C#, with Oracle SQL/PLSQL backend and
consuming SOA based services offered by IBM Mainframe teams. Developed
a component of AJAX-based internal web site CARES Utility for setting
up cross-sell products. Developed components of user interface for
pricing information. Applied a variant of Model-view-controller (MVC)
design pattern to the UI and Utility solution. Used Nant to
dynamically generate App.config for multiple configurations.
CLIENT: COMTRAK LLC, ST.LOUIS, MO
PERIOD: AUGUST 2006 TO SEPTEMBER 2007
Primarily designed and developed a video recording product,
connecting to multiple DVR's. Each DVR could support up to 4 cameras.
The product supported live monitoring of video streams from the 4
cameras in 4 quadrants on the screen. Was responsible for design and
development using Visual C++/MFC/STL and SQL Server in the areas of
user administration and privileges, long term archival, live video
in-memory repository, splitting live video files at regular size
intervals and threading the process, UI features to support placing a
DVR on test, UI features for Reboot schedules, DVR state maintenance
and display and also DVR properties. Also wrote major portions of a
Windows based system monitor service that collected heuristics of
outside temperature in the DVR surroundings.
CLIENT: MICHAEL'S STORES, IRVING, TX
PERIOD: FEBRUARY 2006 TO JULY 2006
Designed and built RIM Tax module for client Michaels Stores, a
leading retail chain based in Irving, Texas. Mostly created programs
in Oracle 9i, Pro*C, and UNIX to interface with Retek 6i. Identified
and resolved two major problems leading to a variance in Michaels'
stock ledger: a Canadian currency exchange difference between
transaction and shipment dates, and an accidental exclusion of
perpetual stock in calculating ending inventory.

CLIENT: MAILCODE (PITNEY BOWES), LAFAYETTE, IN

PERIOD: JULY 2004 TO JANUARY 2006

Represented Theoris Inc. at MailCode as a consultant software

engineer in 2004. Subsequently joined and worked at MailCode as a
full-time employee until January 2006. Developed and maintained
various multi-threaded C++/Windows service processes and
installations for transport control software for clients such as the
US Treasury, USPS, and several German companies.

CLIENT: CTI GROUP, INDIANAPOLIS

PERIOD: 1999 TO APRIL 2004

Represented Theoris Inc. (Profound Consulting) at CTI Group as a

consultant software engineer from 1999 to 2002. Subsequently joined
and worked at CTI Group as a full-time senior software engineer until
2004. Designed and developed a complete telecom billing software
system (MagnaFlex) with Windows front-end and HP-UX/Oracle backend.
Designed and developed substantial part of both UI and HP-UX batch
processes with C++ as the primary development language on both sides.
Also designed and developed a web client for SmartBill, a telecom
invoice analysis software, proprietary to CTI Group, written in C#,
SQL Server backend and Web forms.

CLIENT: CONSECO CORPORATION, INDIANAPOLIS

PERIOD: 1997 TO 1999
 As a consultant, represented Mastech at Conseco to work on Conseco's
Y2K validation project requiring development using various
technologies.
PRIOR TO 1997: Worked for several companies including ANZ Index
Computing, Shaw Wallace & Co. and Igenesis Software Services in India
from 1991 to 1997.
