* Managed all financial operations including monthly P & L's, forecasts, and ann
ual budgets of regions both culturally and geographically quite different
* Increased revenues 14% each year in a 3-year period by creating and carefully
managing the business plan. Included launching new products and services and se
lling " bundled" services to existing customers
* Managed introduction of new technologies, products and services into small and
large markets, including the development and implementation of a highly success
ful, comprehensive marketing plan for launch of telephone that resulted in the h

* Successfully promoted the Charter "bundled" services by using live on air DJ's
in an unscripted and informal manner. Used a popular local news anchor to deve
lop and air a 15-minute infomercial on Charter telephone, and the savings and va
lue of "bundling"

* Changed a very negative to a very positive image, both with the government and
public. Won second longest franchise renewal in state history
* Personally hired and developed dozens and dozens of young men and women into e
ntry-level positions, and then helped them develop into key management positions

* Integrated acquired systems with different cultures, financial systems, and te
chnical operations into existing corporate structure, establishing myself as the

* Won 18 new cable TV franchises in a very competitive process within 2 years, 2
5 total in 4 years. Managed the new franchises from start-up through customer a
cquisition, including system design, hiring staff and contractors, oversight of
system construction, and marketing and installation of new customers
* Negotiated 50 new cable TV franchises, existing franchises, renewals, and tran
sfers to new owners
* Negotiated hundreds of contracts with building, utility and residential instal
lation contractors who built office buildings
