Data Center Manager - Enterprise Tape Support
The Enterprise Tape Support teams job is to provide standardized support for enh
ancing and sustaining work for all SAN/TAPE Libraries in the ITO data centers, d
istributed sites and many remote locations. We maintain three enterprise tape su
pport tools that are beneficial to many work groups. We lead and contribute to m
any ITO enterprise projects. I provide enterprise wide Tier 1 SAN/TAPE Infrastru
cture Support related to ITO automated tape libraries and manually mounted syste
ms. Responsibilities also include change management, trouble management, metrics
reporting, daily media management, offsite vaulting and disaster recovery exerc
ise support. I am also the Tape Supervisor for the Charlotte Data Center. The Go
To person for any tape related issues and/or vertices problems.

Midrange Hardware Technical Support
Responsible for monitoring and troubleshooting over 2,000 UNIX based and Mainfra
me systems. Provide first level responder for all automated alerts and customer
calls.
Have performed team lead and LSA duties for Data Center Response Team. Assisted
in coordinating the installation, change and upgrade to midrange service deliver
y environment of the CRDC.
Responsible for the resolution of connectivity issues on a real-time basis.
Provide technical mentoring and training as requested.
Responsible for minimizing system "down-time". Working as a liaison between the
system analysts and hardware vendors to ensure maximrm system efficiency and pr
operly schedule down time for system maintenance/repair/upgrades; including iden
tifying system problems.
Provide technical support and troubleshooting of hardware problems and manage al
l referred system troubles to their resolution. Single point of contact for har
dware vendors.
Responsible for proper documentation / problem resolution on REM cases, and reco
rding actions as needed.

Coordinate movement of 120 product inventory for two Charlotte warehouses. Forec
ast six week product sales based on past activity trends, season changes and , a
dvertising promotions. Adjust forecasts weekly, as necessary. Track inventory v
ariance daily to limit discrepancies to less than 50 cases per month for both wa
rehouse locations.
Reconcile daily cash receipts, truck delivery logs and computer inventory record
s.
Communicate daily with brewery in Williamsburg to keep on hand inventory in line
with customer demand. Interface via communications network with Anheuser-Busch
Corporate Headquarters on promotional data, trucking schedules and other relevan
t information.
Monitor expiration dates on product maintaining 105 - 150 days (depending on pro
duct) shelf life.
Prepare price promotions from Anheuser-Busch quarterly and report sales totals a
ssociated with promotions.
Generate daily, monthly, quarterly product reports for senior management. Set up
PC emulation to retrieve necessary information from AS400 mainframe.
