heir customers' needs. This was a prototype developed for Microsoft to provide v
arious data managing mechanisms to users such as history of order/purchase, lice
nse summary and reports using highly interactive controls.
Focused on developing POC using Silverlight and WPF technologies by providing ri

PROJECT: NEXT GENERATION STAFFING RECWEB APPLICATION ~ MICROSOFT PROJECT


Next Generation Staffing (NGS) works under HRIT, a combination of differe
nt modules which together handle internal applications of Microsoft for its recr
uitment processes. This can be accessed by the recruitment team in procuring emp
loyee for Microsoft. A web application where all job postings are listed and eli
gible candidates can post resume which will undergo scrutiny process.
The goal was to transform the US RecWeb to International RecWeb with all the exi
sting features and incorporating new requirements.

Responsibilities:
* Enhance and support Staffing application
* Developed modules in the system using ASP.NET 2.0 coding in C# and SQL Server
2005 as the sever technology
* Support the free flow of data between different ends involved.
* Developed module for scheduling interview for eligible applicants who passed t
hrough the resume scrutiny process including checking of the eligibility of cand
idature; assigning interviewer for the candidate; as well as setting of intervie
w schedule; and mailing both the candidate and the interviewer.

ing procedure and resolving queries, composing T-SQL statements for tables, inde

A windows application developed for a multinational pharmaceutical company to cr
eate administrative section for maintenance of its invoice orders, product searc
h, stock availability in store, organization contracts, customer service and rep
ort generation.

Responsibilities:
* Analyzing the requirements from client and designing the screens needed using
Visual Studio.NET
* Creating the database needed using SQL server 2000 and implemented the stored
procedure to extract workflow and security information from database tables and
generated triggers to update information for facilitating the workflow process.
* Deployed C# methods to process requests on server and transformed processed da
ta into database; utilized ADO.NET objects to read data system and utilized SQL
data to access the SQL server.

ACADEMIC PROJECT: COLLEGE WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT
A web application developed for my own institution to replace the current static
website with user friendly interface and dynamic interaction is provided using
services for both faculty and students. Appropriate web pages can be accessed ba
sed on their role with college. Students can access their mails, check for their
leaves, register for a class room session, discuss on the technical topics in d
iscussion forums, and register under Alumni. Faculty can post some thesis to stu
dents, post their opinion on discussion forum and schedule their assessments onl
ine.
