As an award-winning leader, I excel at optimizing performance, streamlining oper

plex projects. My experience includes projects ranging from $2M to $1.9B for pri
vate and public sector organizations. I build, train, and mentor exceptional cro

The projects I have worked on include renewable energy projects, solar, biogas,
biomass, waste water facilities, tank farm storage, banking facilities, medical
offices, hospitals, research laboratories, schools, retail outlets, high rise of
fice buildings and casinos. I have upgraded airport security, improved building
processes and directed the installation of high tech security upgrades.

SELECTED ACCOMPLISHMENTS
Streamlining Operations. Johnson Controls increased sales by taking on $80M in l
arge projects, but found profit margins eroding, leading to increased claims exp
osure. Developed project control metrics, including scheduling, scope and risk c
ontrol monitoring, improving profitability 12.5%. Maintained schedules, driving
on-time completions and customer satisfaction.
Revamping Site Management Practices. Tasked as Argus Technical's on-site Constru
ction Manager representing PPG for $10M commercial project. Insured safety compl
iance and training. Coordinated on-site personnel. Upgraded safety requirements.
Attended schedule update meetings, handling change orders. Orchestrated workflo
w changes, reducing unloading time 25%, and saving hundreds of thousands of doll
ars.
Implementing Cost Controls. Major construction projects were falling behind sche
dule and budget. Developed and implemented project management mentoring plan. St
andardized monitoring process for tracking workflow. Reduced scope creep, ensuri
ng scope of work and proper scheduling. Reduced costs 5%, saving millions.
Managing Multiple Projects. Johnson Controls needed construction management serv
ices on numerous projects across the country. Established tight schedules and bu
dget parameters. Trained, supported on-site managers in managing work crews and
subcontractors. Monitored workflow/completion of projects from $2M to $40M.

budget / cost control procedures.
Senior Project Manager / Principal, ACT Construction, Inc. (residential construc
tion company), 2004 to 2007. Designed, rezoned, and created legal descriptions.
Developed scope and budgets, obtained financing, and collaborated with up to 14
subcontractors. Building homes/condos. Held full P&L responsibility.
Project Management Consultant, Johnson Controls, ($38B commercial construction c
ompany), 1999 to 2004. Assisted regional project managers. Developed performance
metrics for more than 20 nationwide projects per year. Wrote CPM schedule, incl
uding quality control and safety plans. Managed 20 staff and $100M budget.
Site Project Manager, Argus Technical, 1997 to 1999. Served as owner's represent
ative for $10M construction of tank storage farm, including truck and rail unloa
ding and pump transfer project. Managed installation of high tech systems to ens
ure security and production safety. Met, exceeded government-backed Energy Star
efficiency rating.
