EXPERIENCE
Tenaris Tube (formerly Maverick Tube, and LTV Copperweld) Youngstown Ohio and Bl
ytheville, Ark. (1972-2009). All were EWT pipe mills.
Process Specialist and Process Manager
I was responsible for facilitating and applying root cause analysis and FMEA pro
blem solving techniques (such as Pareto charts and Ishikawa diagrams) to all pla
nt production problems toward improving production quality and yield.
Integrated Process Control Coordinator
I was responsible for implementing and Co-managing the plant Quality System tow
ard the goal of continuous improvement.
* Developed, authored and revised procedures for receiving, production, finishin
g and shipping processes; developed and revised all product quality plans.
* Developed and improved internal standards to ensure that external customer sta
ndards were satisfied.
ISO /IPC Coordinator
In addition to the items above, I was responsible for implementing and managing
the plant's ISO and API certifications.
* Received ANSI/ISO/ASQC Q9002-1994 Certification in June 1995
* Received ANSI/ISO/ASQC Q9001-2000 Certification in January 2003
* Managed the continuation of the API SPEC. Q1, API SPEC. 5L and API SPEC. 5CT P
rograms
* Managed the plant readiness efforts for all ISO re-certification and surveilla
nce audits.
* Conducted the internal audits for all of the above quality programs.
* Managed all internal and external audit and product non conformance related co
rrective actions.
EDUCATION and QUALIFICATIONS
* BA in Business Administration, Point Park College, Pittsburgh, PA
* Certified Internal Auditor for ISO 9000: 1994 and ISO 9001: 2000.
* Six Sigma Green Belt Certification, (practical experience in six sigma stati
stics, capability studies, repeatability reproducibility, calibration studies a
nd FMEA techniques and more)
* Ultrasonic level one.
