Intelligence is defined as general cognitive problem-solving skills. A mental ability involved in

reasoning, perceiving relationships and analogies, calculating, learning quickly« etc. Earlier it
was believed that there was one underlying general factor at the intelligence base (the g-factor),
but later psychologists maintained that it is more complicated and could not be determined by
such a simplistic methods.p

Other definitions are: "Intelligence is what you do when you don't know what to do." "Intelligence
is a hypothetical idea which we have defined as being reflected by certain types of behavior." p

Interests test is used to identify what you might be passionate about occupationally and is
said to be the most powerful test in finding your perfect career. It is also recommended to
be the first step in your career planning.

Unlike career aptitude test which is used to discover your natural skills, interest test
discovers the type of work and the type of career that you are highly motivated and be
successful. However, it is possible that the career you are passionate about is not the career
you are skillful at. If you're in such a situation, how are you going to make a choice? Many
career counselors believe that you should find your interest first. As long as you have the
motivation, you'll you will be able to learn and develop the skills needed to become
successful in your career.

Usually, interest tests consist of a series of questions in which you are asked about your
preferences over different careers. There is no wrong answer since your all your choices are
used to find your real interests and those careers that match them.
