Logistics Senior Business Planning Manager - Sony Electronics of America
* Achieved a cost reduction of $644K by coordinating the redistribution of domes
tic VAIO Personal Computing products through the Sony Logistics network.
* Reduced logistics expenses by $536K through the elimination of Declared Value
insurance charges.
* Improved on-time delivery from 96.1% to 97.1%.
* Developed a plan which led to the use of a 3rd party logistics (3PL) provider
in Hawaii in lieu of a Sony-run operation with an expected annual savings of $30

* Collaborated on the successful shut down and subsequent move of VAIO personal
computing product's refurbishing operations from a 3PL provider to Sony's Laredo
Texas operation.

ation Systems & Solutions of America (ISSA) enabling a shift in manufacturing fo
r targeted SKUs.

in the migration from an Oracle-based order management system (OMS) to SAP.
* Worked with Sony's Transportation, Logistics Center, and International Logisti

tery labeling and documentation requirements.

ogistics Center management representatives in the reduction of damage to Ingram
Micro. This project resulted in Sony being recognized by Ingram Micro for its Ou
tstanding Performance in Damage Reduction and was published on Yahoo Finance on

* Improved safety awareness, ultimately reducing lost time injuries. This result
ed in improving the facility OSHA safety rating from over 2.1 to 0.20.
* Reduced warehouse damage through the sponsorship of a cross-functional team, i
