From Death to Life.
“In this world, there appears to be a state that is
life’s opposite. Y ou call it death. It is the one sure
thing an inhabitant of this world can count on. A ll of
your apparent successes and failures, your loves, your
hates, your losses, your gains, depend on this one in-
evitable fact. In a world of uncertainty and chaos, it is
the one guarantee that you have — the barometer for
your life; the clock that ticks away in the back of your
mind. A t this time, and all over this world, there is
increasing documentation of encounters with death.
Filling our bookstores and television programs are
reports from hundreds of people, from all walks of life,
describing virtually the same occurrence: A sense of
being dead, of peace and painlessness, looking down
upon yourself and traveling through a tunnel to a
light so bright and beautiful, that you can’t believe it
within your own sun? Freedom from the chains of the
physical body, seeing your life flash before your eyes,
a sense of oneness and complete understanding, meet-
ing loved ones that had passed away long ago, a feel-
ing of being taken care of and loved simply as you are,
without question or judgment. Finally, a reluctance
to return from this light, from this experience of inde-

I am in need of nothing but the truth.
I sought for many things, and found despair.
Now do I seek but one, for in that one is all I need,
and only what I need. All that I sought before I
needed not, and did not even want. My only need
I did not recognize. But now I see that I need only
truth. In that all needs are satisfied, all cravings
end, all hopes are finally fulfilled and dreams are
gone. Now have I everything that I could need.
Now have I everything that I could want.
And now at last I find myself at peace.
And for that peace, our Father, we give thanks.
What we denied ourselves You have restored, and
only that is what we really want.

Are you the light of the w orld
of this little w orld association?
Are you begin-ning to recog-
nize that you come into a frame
of light? Does it su d d enly occu r to you that
there’s som eone ou t there w ho is also beginning
to exam ine him self in a d ifferent sp ace/tim e as-
sociation if each m om ent you r sp ace/tim e asso-
ciation is changing anyway?
An exit p ortal from this infinite sm all m aze of
sp ace and tim e has been op ened in the conver-
sion of you r cellu lar id entity. Tim e, this tim e
right now , lasted bu t an instant in you r m ind
w ith no effect u p on eternity. And so is all tim e
p ast, and everything exactly as it w as before the
w ay to the nothingness in sp ace/tim e w as m ad e.
That tiny tick, that tiny m om ent in w hich the
first m istake in sp ace/tim e w as m ad e, and all of
them w ithin that one m istake, held also the Cor-
rection for that one – listen –s and all of them
that cam e w ithin the first. And in that tiny m o-
m ent of the conversion of the energy of the re-
cellular generation of yourself time was done, for
that was all it ever was.
Rem em ber w e ju st read together, you ’re re-
generating you r cells, they have absolu tely no
regard to you r concep t, bu t the id ea of you r con-
cep t is im p ortant if they can bu t rep licate w hat
you think you are and attem p t to su btract you r-
self. I, the Master Teacher w ill teach for a m o-
m ent, from the occu p ancy of sp ace, of d ark en-
ergy, that you use to restrict yourself in the DNA
of you r id ea of you rself and form u late d ark
form , that seem s to su rrou nd you w ith the light
that I am feeling now, especially for you.
 The bod y is an isolated sp eck of d arkness; a
hid d en secret room , a tiny sp ot of senseless m ys-
tery, a m eaningless enclosu re carefu lly p ro-
tected, yet hiding nothing.
The shad ow y figu res from the p ast are p re-
cisely w hat you m u st escap e. They are not real,
and have no hold over you u nless you bring
them w ith you . They carry the spots of p ain in
you r m ind , d irecting you to attack in the p resent
in retaliation for a past that is no more.
And this decision is one of future pain. Unless
you learn that p ast p ain is an illu sion, you are
choosing a fu tu re of illu sions and losing the
m any op p ortu nities you cou ld find for release in
the p resent. You w ou ld p reserve you r night-
m ares, and p revent you from aw akening and
u nd erstand ing they are p ast. Wou ld you recog-
nize a holy encou nter if you are m erely p erceiv-
ing it as a meeting with your own past?
Death is a thought that takes on many forms, of-
ten unrecognized. It may appear as sadness, fear,
anxiety or doubt; as anger, faithlessness and lack
of trust; concern for bodies, envy, and all forms
in which the wish to be as you are not may come
to tempt you. All such thoughts are but reflec-
tions of the worshipping of death as savior and
as giver of release.
What would you see without the fear of death?
What would you feel and think if death held no
attraction for you?
Very simply, you would remember your Father.
The Creator of life, the Source of everything that
lives, the Father of the universe and of the
universe of universes, and of everything that lies
even beyond them would you remember.
And as this memory rises in your mind, peace
must still surmount a final obstacle, after which
is salvation completed, and the Son of God en-
tirely restored to sanity. For here your world
does end.
The Cou rse in Miracles is a correction of the
id ea of sp ace/tim e. The Cou rse In Miracles is
nothing bu t the ad m ission of a m om entary d e-
viation from the entirety of w hat you m u st be in
all of the u niverse. It’s au tom atic, it’s occu rring
sim u ltaneou sly w ith you r thou ght and it’s al-
read y hap pened . I m ight encou rage you in the
Mind Training to begin to have an exp erience of
the lessons that w e are sharing together in m o-
m ents of revelation. What w e recognize m any
tim es that w ithin m y m ind I felt the id ea in m y
d ream sequ ence, this is all of u s now , that som e-
one is alw ays w ith m e, yet w hen I w oke u p he
appeared to be gone.
Will you share this w ith m e ju st for a m om ent
of teaching? N othing is ever lost. If w e have an
ad m ission that all of the p rocess of ou r m ind is
only contained w ithin ou r self, how cou ld it be
lost? It m u st be that som ew here w ithin this en-
tire cycle of tim e, d eep w ithin u s is a m em ory,
com e on I’m going to teach for a m om ent in
sp ace/tim e, in the im p rovem ent of the cond ition
of the p ossibility that there is som ething other
than m y entrance into sp ace/tim e and m y su bse-
qu ent leaving, that is it’s the sim ple ad m ission
that God or the u niverse is the id ea of the con-
version of space/time, not space/time itself.
