1. Computer hardware – the physical components of the computer to make it function.

2. Computer system – overall components of the computer we are using the


inputs/output devices, storage components, and processes involve in a using the
computer.

3. CPU architecture – Characteristics and features of the CPU. (4 cores 16 threads)

4. Memory (RAM, ROM, CMOS and flash ) - used to store information for immediate use
in a computer.

5. CPU Registers (My first time encountering this term) - register is a quickly accessible
location available to a computer's processor. Registers usually consist of a small
amount of fast storage, although some registers have specific hardware functions, and
may be read-only or write-only.

7. Busses - A communication system responsible for the transferring of data between


inside a computer and from computer to another computer.

8. Instruction Sets - is part of a computer that pertains to programming, which is more


or less machine language. It provides commands to the processor, to tell it what it
needs to do.

9. Operating System – The most important software that runs on a computer. It


manages the hardware, software resources, and provide services for computer
programs. Also, software are dependent to type of OS installed.

10. Operating System Process Management - involves various tasks like creation,
scheduling, termination of processes, and a dead lock. It also protects the resources of
each process from other methods and allows synchronization among processes. A.k.a
“Task Manager”.
