FOREWORD
Based on article 68 of the Government Rule No. 19 Year of 2005 pertaining National Standard of Educa-
tion, the result of National Examination (UN) e.g. can be used as one of considerations on improvement
and giving assistance for each education unit in the framework of educational quality improvement.
Through UN outcome, the map picture or the graphic of academic achievement progress and student
graduation on the level of SMP/MTs (Junior High School), SMA/MA (Senior High School), and SMK (Vo-
cational High School) nationally can be identified.
The purpose of booklet construction on Graphic Progress of National Examination Result is to know
the progress or trend of academic achievement and the passing of students as participants nationally,
so that the policy maker can use National Examination result in the framework to improve educational
quality program.
Hopefully, this guidance booklet is useful for stakeholders in using the result of National Examination.
We are looking forward to any constructive critique and suggestion from all parties that we are very
grateful of those contributions.
