nal IBM customers use this application world-wide.
* Utilized Project Management principles for risk management, sizing, planning a

Technical Team Lead for a project to handle the data migration of over 1 mil
lion technical drawings (CAD/CAM) supporting Engineering Bill of Materials for I
BM Products into a consolidated database. These drawings were sourced from 24 w
orld-wide Engineering and Manufacturing location databases within IBM.
* Developed and managed the plan for the migration team and negotiated resources
and schedule targets with the overall Project manager and sub-team leads.
* Improved the migration cycle time by designing, developing and implementing a
relational database and tracking process. This database was utilized for tracki
ng and managing data integrity issues, location ownership of drawings, data redu
ndancy and overall migration progress.
* Coordinated, communicated and oversaw the processes for IBM locations to send
initial snapshot and periodic synchronization of drawings to the consolidated da
tabase.
* Adapted and handled schedule and cost challenges introduced during the project
lifecycle.
* Successfully met all schedule target dates. When the consolidation was comple
ted, a total of over 1.2 million technical drawings were migrated, eliminating c
lose to 30% data redundancy.

* Developed and successfully deployed an application for archiving 2-D technical
drawings from source databases for IBM internal customers in Endicott. This el
iminated the database size restriction of the 2-D drawing tool being used by the
customer.

for handling Engineering Bill of Material administrative and technical data. S
upported critical batch jobstreams for these applications on a rotational off-sh
ift coverage schedule.
