Function Manager
Gained significant experience in warehouse and distribution operations while pro
gressing through positions of increasing responsibility for this national retail
company. Scope of responsibilities included conducting training for new and exi
sting employees, scheduling and supervising personnel, ensuring the consistent a
chievement of productivity goals, conducting department meetings, resolving issu
es, and providing recommendations and feedback to improve efficiency. Also cond
ucted all OSHA and forklift training for hourly team members. Additional departm
ental responsibilities included:
Receiving Department - Responsible for directing Receiving Department operations
and personnel, including scheduling deliveries, supervising the off-loading and
storage of products, resolving inbound discrepancies, and ensuring that all pha
rmaceutical receipts meet the legal requirements set forth by the Florida Depart
ment of Health and Drug Enforcement Agency.
Replenishment Department: Accountable for ensuring the efficient and productive

Rx Department - Duties included supervising personnel involved in picking, reple
nishing, auditing, and locating new items for all split and full case areas for

Shipping Department - Position entailed monitoring the off-loading and set-up of
fleet trailers, and ensuring the timely and efficient loading of trailers with
the correct merchandise to meet pull times.
