surance, Banking and Retail industries.

000 employees.

2001 - 2004 IT PROJECT MANAGER (CIGNA):
* Managed a million dollar Infrastructure project for the IT department of Cign
a Group Insurance Division. Reporting to the project was Design Architect, Data
Architect, Hardware specialists, Programmers, Network specialists. Reviewed work
with each and discussed recommendations with each group. The infrastructure su
pported the Bethlehem PA processing center for Group Insurance which performed E
nrollment, claims, document generation, renewals etc.
* Coordinated with testing unit to go over testing procedures, schedules and cas
es for acceptance testing.
* Managed multiple small web projects that supported the Division's website.
* Coordinated efforts for Desktop upgrades.
* Created and maintained Project Plans using Microsoft Project which included cl
early defined risk mitigation steps.
* Maintained documentation and signoffs of each phase of the Project life cycle.
* Provided monthly communication on project status to divisional CIO and immedia
te management using standard company reports.

* Migrated mainframe systems from vendor site to in-house environment. Went to v
endor site for a 1 week study of the processes to maintain and enhance the syste
ms.

* Extensive knowledge of relational databases such as DB2. Used SQL to create re
ports from DB2. Used DB2 utilities to create and manage databases
* Worked in a high paced direct marketing environment to meet the demands of bus

of Commercial Loans Unit.
* Created and maintained DB2 databases and SQL reports for new clients coming on
board for Group Insurance Division of Cigna Insurance Company
