EMPLOYMENT
9/05 to Present Payroll Analyst
U.S. Foodservice Los Angeles Division La Mirada, CA
Analyze and make recommendations to improve payroll processes, procedures, work
flow, reports, and other payroll services as necessary
Process two separate payrolls (weekly/bi-weekly) for bargaining units and exemp
t level staff
Assist VP, Human Resources and Management Staff in union negotiation and specia
l projects as assigned
Liaise with Accounting Department to reconcile manual payroll activity per Depa
rtment policy
Track and monitor union vacation, sick leave, and floater personnel activity
Prepare ad hoc reports to analyze payroll activity and significant variances
Accurately process union dues, pension, and health & welfare transactions withi
n specified deadlines
Identify, research, and correct payroll errors as well as resolve payroll discr
epancies and issues upon request in a timely fashion
Process off-cycle and division checks as required and manage non-exempt records
Work with HR Department to ensure timely notification and accuracy of employee
status changes
