Joined the Salt Lake City office of Tatum LLC as its Managing Partner in January
2008.
Tatum is the nation's largest and fastest-growing executive services firm, with
over 700 Executive Partners and Principals in 35 offices across the country. Ta
tum's primary focus is providing experienced CFOs and Controllers who can augmen
t existing management teams, serve on special project teams, or serve as interim
officers and/or managers for periods as short as several days and as long as se
veral years. Tatum's CFOs also serve on a continuing basis as W-2 employees and
officers as required.

arketing and independent agent base. Served as CEO and CFO and worked with a ne
w Board of Directors to i. define business strategies, raise capital to identify
, research, propose, and lead an acquisition of technology and senior management
to support a turnaround of the company and its growth objectives, and ii. Imple
ment financial, corporate governance and timely and accurate public reporting, r
estructure the company's equity and prepare it for larger acquisition opportunit
ies.
Innuity, Inc. (INNU), a public Software as a Service (SaaS) company that designs
, acquires and integrates applications to deliver solutions for small business.
Served as CFO and worked with the management team to (i.) define business strat
egies, and identify, research, propose, and lead acquisitions or strategic allia
nces to support growth objectives, and (ii.) consolidate, centralize, build and
manage the finance and administrative departments. Successfully completed a mer
ger with a public company and multiple acquisitions, and raised over $5 million
in capital, dramatically impacting growth, from $3 million to $24 million.
The SCO Group, Inc. (SCOX), a public company and owner of the UNIX operating sys
tem and supplier of e-commerce solutions for small businesses and enterprise rep
licated business units. Served as CFO leading integration of worldwide operatio
ns (13 countries) of SCO following its acquisition by Caldera International. Co
nsolidated infrastructure of the two companies, focusing on (i.) merging dispara
te business processes and corporate philosophies into a unified culture, and (ii
.) driving turnaround to transform highly unprofitable operations to profitabili
ty and positive cash generation. Managed administrative departments and all asp
ects of public reporting, financing, and investment banking. Assembled a well-c
redentialed executive and operating team, and raised $50 million through a PIPE.
Westwind, Inc., a private company with operations in both the commercial and Dep
artment of Defense market sectors for repair and maintenance of both fixed wing
and helecopters. Lead role in start-up operations, serving as an investor, a me
mber of the Board of Directors, and as Vice President of Business Development.
Acted as a thought-leader, participating in completing an acquisition and establ
ishing corporate infrastructure, including building the management team, and def
ining strategic direction for future growth. Raised $7 million of venture capit
al.
Sento Corporation (SNTO) - 1996 to 1999
CFO
Sento Corporation, a public company provides outsourcing of technical consulting
, systems integration, training, and technical call center support in the IT ind
ustry. Brought on board based on highly skilled, strategic background with comp
lex public and private organizations. Served as a key member of the executive t
eam. Responsible for restructuring a private company, completing a merger with
a public company, and debt financing for new strategic direction and expansion o
f international operations.
Created Substantial Shareholder Value. Went beyond pure finance and accounting
to being a strategic advisor to the CEO and the Board, and a value-added contrib
utor to the senior management team of Sento. Completed four acquisitions, raise
d over $10 million, and assisted in growing the company from 30 employees to ove
r 300 employees. Established disciplined business processes to maintain a posit
ive cash flow during dramatic growth.

Cerprobe Corporation (CRPB) / Fresh Test Technology Company - 1991 to 1996

Initially served as President for Fresh Test Technology, and later CFO at Cerpro
be after negotiating acquisition of Fresh Test Technology by Cerprobe. Played k
ey role in (i.) the development and preparation of strategic and operating busin
ess plans, (ii.) ensuring ongoing financial flexibility for the organization, in
cluding development and execution of a broad range of innovative capital fund ra
ising activities, and (iii.) serving as a key contributor in the identification,
analysis, due diligence, and negotiations associated with new growth opportunit
ies.
Cerprobe Corporation, a public company that designs, manufacturers, and markets
a suite of products used to test and characterize integrated circuits (chips).
Highly visible CFO role responsible for investor and investment banking relation
s, acquisitions, and general corporate finance. Completed two acquisitions and
raised $10 million in equity, enhancing the competitive edge of Cerprobe, which
resulted in a five-fold increase in share value, as well as ultimate acquisition
by Kulicke & Soffa (KLIC).
Fresh Test Technology, a private company in the test and characterization of cir
cuits business. Led immediate objectives of defining new strategic decisions af
fecting business development, sales and revenue achievement, and the future stru
cture of the company. Participated in operations turnaround, structured merger
with Cerprobe Corporation, and negotiated international strategic partnership.
Additionally, raised $5.5 million to finance development of new state-of-the-art
testing equipment.

Axent Technologies (AXNT) - 1986 to 1991


CFO
Axent Technologies, a public company engaged in the development and marketing of
system security software. Served as CFO for Clyde Digital, a computer security
technology company. Provided executive leadership in all areas of finance and
accounting, with particular focus on raising venture and private capital, reorga
nizing company, and completing a merger of the company into RAXCO (predecessor t
o Axent Technologies and subsequently acquired by Symantec).
