2003 2008: Consultant at Electronic Data Systems (EDS), Plano, Texas, for Bank
of America directing projects as a Project Manager in the banks worldwide data n
etwork. This involved directing engineers, operations technicians, vendors inclu
ding telecom providers, bank managers, and other project managers. EDS was acqui
red by Hewlett Packard (HP) in 2008 and is currently the largest technology comp
any in the United States. Projects were delivered ahead of schedule and within b
udget.
1981-2003 Vice President/Consultant at Bank of America, San Francisco, CA. Ma
naged and directed major enterprise wide Network rollout projects including EOL
s client server, router swaps and upgrades, controllers, in the magnitude of th
ousands per rollout. Required managing human resources, engineering, vendor supp
ort, network operations, finance, procurement, change management, project manage
rs, and technical support. These projects had budget of several million to hundr
eds of millions of dollars, and all were delivered under budget and ahead of sch
edule.
