EXPERIENCE:
-01/08 to Present: US Army Reserves, 10th Psychological Operations Battalion, De
tachment Commander:
Commander of a Psychological Operations (PSYOP) detachment whose mission is to a
lter the behavior of a foreign population in a manner consistent with United Sta
tes objectives. This is done through information and media assessment of a targe
t population in order to develop, produce, and disseminate products that include
relevant information via television, radio, internet, newspapers, posters, and
pamphlets. While in Afghanistan I was responsible for influencing a population
area encompassing approximately 3-4 million people.
-01/07 to 05/08: Fox C-6 School District, Teacher, Arnold MO: Responsible for t
eaching students across the school district encompassing all grade levels and su
bjects; primarily focused on high school level business classes.
-07/07 to 11/07: Walgreen's Pharmacy, Assistant Manager: Responsible for custom
er service, inventory management, merchandising, money handling and accountabili
ty, employee leadership, and overall store condition.
-05/06 to 12/06: US Army, 3rd Infantry Division, Executive Officer (Logistical O
perations and Planning):
Responsible for supervision, planning, and execution of maintenance and logistic
al operations for a unit of 125 Soldiers and 50 vehicles; also responsible for t
he supervision, development, morale, and general welfare of the most administrat
ively crucial section in the organization.
-06/05 to 05/06: US Army, 3rd Infantry Division, Mortar Platoon Leader (Small Un
it Tactical Leadership): Responsible for the safety, welfare, training, discipli
ne, and tactical employment of 23 Soldiers; maintaining positive control and acc
ountability of all assigned equipment including eighteen vehicles valued in exce
ss of $3,000,000. Tasked with security of Baghdad's most traveled road as well a
s the surrounding streets and neighborhoods. Dealt with various Iraqi Security F
orce organizations; many of which looked to me for leadership and guidance in de
aling with daily counterinsurgency operations.
-10/04 to 06/05: US Army, 3rd Infantry Division, Squadron Adjutant (Human Resour
ces Management): Directly supervised the daily operations of a five-person shop
responsible for all administrative, legal, and personnel support actions for ove
r 450 personnel. Supervised and provided specific services in the fields of str
ength management, personnel support actions, accounting, finance, unit funding,
legal actions, official distribution, awards processing, and personnel evaluatio
ns. Directly responsible for the training of an Iraqi Army Brigade's Administrat
ive Section. (Brigade equals approximately 3500 Soldiers)
-12/03 to 02/04: US Army, Cadet Command, Assistant Recruiting Officer: Responsi
ble for the processing, management, and enrollment of incoming and outgoing cade
ts and officers for the number one ranked ROTC program in the country. Also coo
rdinated and executed Leadership Activities and courses on behalf of the Univers
ity for Missouri Boys State and Missouri Girls State programs.
