 Remarks

On the preparation: Place a piece of paper or a thin book (max. 40 pages) on the
middle string section of the piano.

The small notes serve as leaders towards the whole or half notes through the entire
piece. Therefore, they should not be played fast, but rather slow and with tendency
towards the following note.

+ : Pizzicato on the strings.

| : Repeat the preceding notes exactly as they were written. The horizontal beams
indicate the duration of the notes.

/ : Repeat the preceding motif exactly as it was written. The duration of the notes is
indicated in the first complete appearance of the respective motif.

In the cases of written accelerations, the one pianist has to perform the accelerando
while the other continues to further play on the same tempo.

Bemerkungen

Als Präparierung soll ein Papierblatt bzw. dünnes Buch (max. 40 Seiten) auf dem
mittleren Saitenbereich des Klaviers gelegt werden.

Die kleinen Noten führen zu den vollen bzw. halben Noten über die ganze Fantasie
hin. Daher sollen sie nicht zu schnell gespielt werden, sondern langsam und mit
Tendenz nach der folgenden Note.

+ : Pizzicato auf den Klaviersaiten.

| : Die vorangestellte Noten wiederholen, genauso wie sie geschrieben waren. Die
horizontalen Balken die Notendauer darstellen.

/ : Das vorangestellte Motiv wiederholen, genauso wie es geschrieben war. Die

Notendauer werden auf der ersten vollen Erscheinung des Motivs dargestellt.

Bei den ausgeschriebenen Accelerando-Stellen muss der eine Pianist das Accelerando
aufführen, während der Andere weiter im gleichen Tempo spielt.
