Forgeus Ave. Cell Phone: 916-257-4449 Tucson, AZ 815719 Work Experience University of Arizona Mens Football Team I worked as University of Arizona Football Team Manager, Coaches Intern, and Eq uipment Manager for 3 seasons. I helped lead the Wildcats to its first NCAA bowl game in 10 years, including t he 2009 Holiday Bowl and the 2008 Las Vegas Bowl. I worked 1 season with the Defensive Secondary, and 2 seasons with the Offensiv e Line. I learned the intricacies of a successful NCAA Division 1 Football team, includ ing the hard work, long hours, and commitment to perfection needed to be a winni ng program. Two phenomenal 8 win seasons I made sure each position had the proper equipment and helped all coaches run p ractice. Furthermore, I made sure each player had the right materials, in a saf e manner, to succeed. United States Golf Association I worked as a USGA intern for both the 2008 and 2009 U.S. Opens in Torrey Pines (San Diego), CA and Bethpage (New York), NY. The 2008 US Open, which I was a fundamental part of, is still considered, by mo st, to be the most successful golf tournament ever. The 2008 US Open set records in ticket sales and concession sales. The 2009 US Open set a record for merchandise sales with over 30 million in mer chandise sold, yielding an estimated profit of 20 million for the USGA. As an intern, I managed the main merchandise pavilion, as well as the satellite and walk-up merchandise stores. I also helped set up, inventory, and interior merchandise the entire operation. I also helped design the logo for the 2011 US Open, give crucial input on the c ompetitive design of each course, set up the golf tournament (as well as other e vents on each facility), and do everything in my power to make sure the US Open ran smoothly. I led over 200 volunteers, and helped manage a staff of over 2,000 volunteers a nd 50 different merchandise vendors throughout the US Open Merchandise process. Glen Oaks Swim and Tennis Club I worked as a lifeguard for 5 years, and I am certified in lifeguarding, CPR, A ED, and First Aid. I coached the swim team for 3 years, including all ages, and even coached my ow n afternoon practice. I led Glen Oaks to its first swim championship in 25 years, and coached the tea m to a #1 ranking in the Sacramento region. I managed the snack bar, as well as the entire facility. I also performed all the lawn maintenance and janitorial services.
